Yes!

In the soft glow of the morning, Aurora stirred awake, her cheek resting against Edwin's chest. The warmth of his embrace reminded her of the events of the previous day, causing a deep blush to spread across her face. She quickly buried her face into his shoulder, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Edwin, already awake, watched her with a soft smile.

His hand gently caressed her hair as he whispered, “Good morning, baby.”

Aurora murmured, “Mmh,” her voice barely audible, still shy from the intimacy they now shared.

Edwin chuckled and tilted her chin up so their eyes met. “What’s with the 'mmh'?"

"  Yesterday, you were so bold... Or should I say sexyyy..., weren’t you?” His tone was playful, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Aurora gasped, her face turning a deeper shade of red. “Ah! Stop it!”

Edwin laughed softly, holding her closer. “Alright, alright. I won’t tease you,” he said, his voice tender.

He pressed a kiss to her hand and continued, “You know, I’m really happy right now. Finally, you’re not mad at me anymore. And you’ve accepted me… completely.”

Aurora’s heart softened at his words.

She looked down for a moment before meeting his gaze and spoke earnestly, “I’m sorry, Edwin. I know I was too angry with you."

" Even though you told me everything you did was because you wanted me to marry you, I didn’t understand at the time.”

Edwin’s expression grew serious. “No, Aurora. Don’t apologize."

"  I should’ve understood that you have your own choices and feelings. How could I treat you like that? It wasn’t right.”

A moment of quiet understanding passed between them, the air heavy with emotions finally spoken aloud.

Edwin broke the silence with a determined smile.

“But it doesn’t matter now. I’ve decided that no matter what happens, I’m staying here with you. Even if Uncle and Aunt are upset at first—”

Aurora cut him off abruptly. “Wait, wait!”

Edwin froze, looking at her curiously. Aurora took a deep breath before continuing, her voice steady but firm, “Edwin!"

"  I never said I wanted to stay here forever. What I’m saying is… I’m ready. I’m ready to marry you and move in with you.”

Her words hit Edwin like a bolt of lightning.

His eyes widened, and for a moment, he couldn’t speak. Then, in a voice filled with both shock and joy, he exclaimed,

“What?! "

Edwin stared at Aurora, his mind racing to process her words. “Really?!” he exclaimed, his voice a mix of disbelief and excitement.

His heart pounded as he tried to make sense of what she had just said.

“But you always used to say that you’d never leave this place… that you’d spend your entire life here.”

Aurora smiled gently, her eyes filled with warmth and understanding.

“I used to say that because this place holds so much of my past. It’s my parents’ place. I was born here!"

" For the longest time, I thought I had no one in this world, that I didn’t belong anywhere. So I came back to my birthplace, thinking that at least this place, where I was born, could be mine. No matter the circumstances I was born into, I could at least claim it as my own.”

She paused, her expression softening as she looked deeply into Edwin’s eyes.

“But after hearing everything you said yesterday, I finally realized something. I realized that now I have you. You’re the one person who loves me unconditionally, the one who’s willing to do anything for me. For the first time in my life, I feel like I belong to someone.”

Her voice became firmer, filled with a newfound determination.

“So now, after everything you’ve given me—after all the meaning you’ve brought into my life—how could I not do this for you?”

Edwin’s eyes softened, and he reached for her hand, squeezing it gently.

Aurora continued, her tone lighter now, a hint of playfulness in her voice.

“And anyway, even if we live in the city after we’re married, we’ll still come back here, won’t we? For summer vacations, for festivals, and, of course, for your werewolf pack. You’ll need to visit them, and I will too, right?”

Edwin’s face lit up with joy as he exclaimed, “Yes! Of course!”

But then something clicked, and his excitement grew even more. “Wait! "

" Does this mean you’re saying yes? You’re saying yes to marrying me?!”

Aurora nodded shyly, her cheeks flushing with warmth. Her simple gesture spoke volumes, and Edwin couldn’t contain himself.

Overwhelmed with happiness, he leaned over, wrapping her in his arms and pulling her close. His laughter filled the room as he held her tightly, burying his face in her neck.

Their day was filled with uncontainable joy, laughter, and moments of tender affection. It felt as though the weight of uncertainty had finally lifted, leaving only happiness and the promise of a beautiful future together.
