Kiss ?

He sat down again, his movements deliberate and calm, before saying with a steady voice, "Sit down, calmly." Edwin's gaze lingered on Aurora, his tone gentle but firm. He shifted closer to her, his presence both reassuring and imposing as he sat right beside her, so close that their arms almost touched.

Aurora, however, couldn't hide the disbelief written all over her face.

Her eyes widened, and she shook her head slightly, as though trying to shake off the impossible thought. "But how is it possible?!" she burst out, her voice tinged with confusion and desperation.

Edwin, trying to explain, said, "Why can't it be possible?"

"Because, because..." Aurora stammered, "You're you, and I'm me!"

Edwin gave her a look at her words as Aurora just stared back.

Breaking the silence first, Aurora spoke, "
I mean, you're a wolf-"

Edwin immediately cut in, correcting her with a firm tone, "Werewolf!"

Aurora responded, "Yes, yes, that."

"But I'm a human, so why did your Moon Goddess choose me?"

Edwin's expression softened, and his voice took on a reassuring tone as he leaned back slightly. "There's nothing to worry about, Aurora. It's a normal match. In fact, many werewolves' mates have turned out to be human."

Aurora blinked, still unsure, and her lips parted to speak, but Edwin wasn't finished. "Even in ancient times, there have been cases of humans and werewolves being mates. It's not unheard of."

"So, there's no need to panic about it."

"How can I not panic?! "Her hands clenched the fabric of her clothes, and her breath quickened as she exclaimed, "And, and... really?!"

"Is it really true that something like this happens between werewolves and humans?"

Edwin simply nodded in quiet affirmation.

A moment passed, a silence stretching between them as Aurora's mind tried to catch up with the reality that Edwin had just confirmed.

Then, with a jolt, she realized how close they were.

The space between them had shrunk so much that she could see every detail of his features-the sharpness of his jawline, the way his dark hair fell in styled yet slightly messy strands, and the captivating depth of his blue eyes. His tanned skin seemed to glow in the dim light, enhancing the undeniable attraction she felt.

Aurora's thoughts spun out of control. 'Wow! He really is sexy. No matter how much I look at him, I just...'

Suddenly, Edwin's voice pulled her back to reality. He spoke smoothly, "If you've seen enough, can you say something now? I want to hear your thoughts from your mouth."

Aurora's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she quickly averted her gaze. "Why are you sitting so close?" she mumbled, trying to regain some composure.

Edwin's reply came without hesitation, his voice lower now, as he leaned in just a little more, his eyes never leaving hers. "Because I want to," he said softly, "close to you."

'Hm?' Aurora's mind scrambled. 'Is he...flirting?'

Edwin responded, louder now and more direct, with his seductive voice, "Yes, I am. I'm flirting with you."

Aurora's heart raced as she wondered, the thought making her even more flustered. 'Can he read minds too?!'

Edwin chuckled lightly, sensing her confusion. "No," he said with a playful glint in his eyes, "werewolves can't read minds. We're not that powerful."

Aurora stared at him, bewildered. "But just now..."

Edwin says, "It's written all over your face what you're thinking."

Seeing him tease her, Aurora turns her face the other way, puffing out her cheeks in annoyance. As she does, Edwin's eyes catch the smooth, white curve of her neck, exposed because her dark brunette hair is pulled up in a simple bun, her usual home look.

Aurora can't see the way Edwin's expression changes, but his gaze is now locked on the bare skin of her neck. A new hunger flickers in his eyes. He stares at her as if the sight of her neck is driving him wild, and before he realizes it, his thoughts start to spiral. How would her skin taste if he pressed his lips against it? What kind of sounds would she make if he gently bit her?

His body begins to move on its own, leaning closer, step by step, drawn to the warmth of her skin.

Suddenly, Aurora senses something.

The warmth of his breath so close to her skin sends shivers down her spine, and she quickly turns her head back towards him.

In that instant, their faces are just inches apart, their noses almost brushing. They're so close, the air between them charged with an intense, electrifying energy.

Aurora's heart pounds in her chest.

' My... my heart is beating so fast. What was he just doing? Was he really thinking about kissing me? Really? Is this going to be my first kiss? What will it be like? How is it going to feel?

Ahhh! '

Her thoughts race, and without even thinking, she closes her eyes in nervous anticipation. In this moment, she had completely forgotten that just a little while ago, she was the one creating a fuss about him being a werewolf!

Edwin's gaze falls to her lips, and as if he can no longer control himself, he leans in, ready to claim the kiss-
