The Wedding

The day had finally arrived, marking the beginning of a beautiful union between Edwin and Aurora.

December’s wintery embrace was softened by the warm glow of the morning sun, which danced across the serene lake, creating a picturesque scene straight out of a dream.

A soft carpet of white sand led the way to the altar, which was adorned with delicate floral arrangements of ivory roses and eucalyptus leaves. Wooden chairs, their frames draped in flowing white fabric, were neatly arranged to face the altar, creating an intimate and serene atmosphere.

Guests began to settle in their seats, dressed in their finest yet most comfortable attire. The women wore pastel-colored dresses, their soft hues mirroring the gentle tones of the morning sky, while the men’s linen shirts and tailored trousers gave an air of understated sophistication.

Conversations were lighthearted and filled with excitement, as the townspeople of Moonbridge mingled with werewolf pack members, all gathered to celebrate this special day.

The buzz of anticipation quieted as the ceremony was about to begin. The pastor, dressed in simple yet dignified robes, stood at the altar with a serene smile, waiting for the bride and groom to make their entrance.

A soft murmur spread through the crowd as Edwin and Aurora appeared, hand in hand.

Aurora, radiant in a flowing white wedding gown, seemed to glow with happiness. Her dress was a masterpiece of simplicity and grace, with delicate lace detailing that hinted at her timeless beauty. Edwin, equally striking in his tailored blue suit, walked confidently beside her.

Since Aurora no longer had any immediate family, she and Edwin had decided to walk down the aisle together, symbolizing their shared journey forward.

They moved gracefully, their smiles warm and genuine, nodding at familiar faces in the crowd.

Among the attendees were Edwin’s aunt Emilia and uncle Boret, whose presence added a familial touch to the occasion, along with many of his company employees who had come to support him.

Aurora, beloved by the townsfolk for her kind spirit and resilience, was surrounded by those she had grown close to during her time in Moonbridge.

The werewolf pack members, including Alpha Alex and Luna Becky, stood proudly, representing another part of their shared life.

As they reached the altar, the pastor raised his hands in greeting and began to speak.

His voice was steady and heartfelt.

“We gather here today, surrounded by the beauty of nature, to witness the union of Edwin Johnson and Aurora Davis. "

Aurora had recently changed her surname to Smith to Davis, to honor her late biological father, a decision that carried profound personal meaning for her.

The pastor continued, his words resonating with the deep love and commitment the couple shared.

“Today, they will speak the vows that will bind their hearts and lives together, promising to walk side by side in love, through all of life’s joys and challenges.”

He turned to Edwin, who stood tall, his gaze fixed lovingly on Aurora.

“Edwin Johnson, do you take Aurora Davis to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, in good times and in bad, for as long as you both shall live?”

Edwin’s voice was steady and full of emotion as he looked deeply into Aurora’s eyes and said, “I do.”

The crowd sat in reverent silence as the pastor continued with the ceremony, turning to Edwin with a warm smile.
