A Night Together
The tension hung thick in the air as Aurora is still on the phone.
Edwin counties, "After checking everything and ensuring it's safe, I'll come and pick you up myself, alright?"
Aurora replies, "Okay, I'm waiting for you."
A brief silence follows, and Aurora can hear Edwin's breathing, steady but strained.
Edwin says, "Look, I'll be going on inspection with the entire pack in my wolf form, so it'll take some time. It might even be night by the time I'm done."
Aurora nods, even though he can't see her. "Alright, I'll still be waiting."
As the call ends, a loud siren suddenly cuts through the stillness. Aurora jumps at the sound.
Police Announcement: "Attention, all residents! A security incident has occurred. Please move to the nearest safe location and remain there until further notice."
Aurora's hands tremble as she dials Mr. Simson's number, who is the owner of this café."
She says, "Mr. Simson, it's Aurora. By now you must have come to know that the entire town is under curfew and I'm at the café. Just thought I should let you know."
Mr. Simson's voice comes through, steady and reassuring. "Aurora, stay inside. Please make sure to keep both you and my cafe safe. And don't get too worried, there is police all around outside, okay. Don't worry, just stay put."
Aurora takes a deep breath, feeling a bit of the tension ease.
She peeks out the window, seeing shadows flickering in the street. "I just wish I knew what was happening out there."
Mr. Simson replies, "You're safe in there, Aurora. Just keep the doors locked and stay calm."
Aurora nods to herself, feeling the weight of Mr. Simson's words anchor her. "Thanks, Mr. Simson. I'll do that."
As she hangs up, the wail of the sirens continues.
It was night, and around 9 PM, after a long wait Edwin finally arrived. A soft knock on the café's door startled her. She peered through the glass and saw Edwin standing outside, his face etched with concern and relief. She quickly unlocked the door and let him in.
"Edwin!" Aurora exclaimed, relief washing over her. "I'm so glad you're here."
Edwin pulled her into a quick embrace, his arms warm and reassuring. "Finally, I'm with you."
Suddenly, Edwin transformed into his wolf form, ripping through his clothes. His large brown body with icy blue eyes was striking. For a moment, Aurora was scared by the sudden change, but the next instant, she noticed how exhausted Edwin's wolf face looked.
He could barely stand, collapsing onto her lap in his wolf form. Aurora didn't feel afraid of him in this state; even though she hadn't seen his wolf form much before, there was a strange sense of comfort in it.
Aurora gently stroked Edwin's soft, warm fur, her fingers gliding over the thick coat with a tenderness that conveyed her affection. Despite his inability to communicate in his wolf form, there was an unspoken connection between them.
With a soothing voice, she whispered, "I know, you must be very tired." The wolf's icy blue eyes met hers, filled with a mixture of exhaustion and gratitude.
"So now, rest," she said softly, encouraging him to find solace. Edwin, sensing her comfort, nestled closer, allowing his heavy body to settle in her lap.
As she continued to caress his fur, a sense of peace enveloped them. Aurora's eyelids grew heavy, the calming rhythm of his breathing lulling her into a gentle slumber. With a content sigh, she let herself relax, her body curling up against him as well.
In the morning, Aurora woke up and felt a heavy weight in her lap. Rubbing her eyes, she looked down to see Edwin, now in his human form, completely naked.
Aurora's gaze traced over Edwin's physique, taking in the strong lines of his torso and the way his skin glowed in the soft morning light. His biceps were well-defined, hinting at strength, while the eight-pack abs showed the results of rigorous training. His body exuded a raw masculinity, contrasting with the vulnerability of his nakedness.
Seeing all this, the sleepiness in her eyes vanish immediately.
And most notably, his private parts...
" Ahhh!"
She immediately turns her gaze the other way out of embarrassment and tries to wake Edwin up.
Edwin stirs awake, stretching with a wide yawn. His messy hair falls over his forehead, giving him a carefree look. He turns to Aurora and flashes a playful grin.
"Good morning, baby," Edwin says, wrapping his arms around her in a warm hug.
Caught off guard, Aurora blushes, her cheeks flushed as she glances away. "Ah, you... you haven't put on any clothes," she says, trying to keep her composure.
Edwin chuckles, leaning back slightly to meet her gaze, smirking with mischief. "Oh? Didn't you like what you saw?" he teases, enjoying her reaction.
Feeling flustered, Aurora quickly stands up, hands on her hips as she tries to sound firm. "You-first put on some clothes!" she insists.
Edwin leans closer, a playful glint in his eyes. "Come on, baby, we're officially in a relationship now. What's there to be shy about?" he counters, clearly enjoying the banter.
"Ahg!" Aurora exclaims, throwing her hands up in exasperation, her playful frustration evident.
Edwin laughs again, his gaze drifting to the back of her neck, teasing her further.
"Okay, listen, I need to tell you something," he says, his tone suddenly serious yet still light-hearted.
Aurora points at him, her voice firm but with a hint of playfulness. "First put on some clothes, then you can say something!"
Edwin looks at his torn clothes on the floor from last night and says, "But how? Don't you see that clothes tear when we transfer?"
"Tck!" Aurora responds, "Then either get out of here or put something on!"
"How can I do that?" Edwin replies, "Is there any extra clothes here?"
"Where would the clothes come from?" Aurora counters.
"But you can't stay here naked! It's already six in the morning; soon people might start coming."
"So be quick, cover yourself."
Edwin replies, "Alright, I guess I have to go in my wolf form from here."
"What?!" Aurora exclaims, turning towards him, but in the next moment, she catches a glimpse of his lower part and remembers that he is still naked, so she quickly turns away.
"What if someone sees you like this?"
Edwin reassures her, "Nothing will happen, don't worry."
"I'm very fast, and besides, every werewolf is taught to get away safely from the moment they are born."
Arora says, "Okay, go and call me when you reach."
As Edwin is about to leave, he pauses and says, "Okay, listen, I need to tell you something important. So whenever I'm free today, I'll come to meet you, alright? Be ready for it. "
Although Aurora stood with her back turned to Edwin, but we could see her give a smile as they are parting away.
"Alright. Be safe."
Edwin chuckled softly and stepped closer. He leaned down, gently kissing the back of her head.
Then in an instant, the air crackled with energy as it began to transform. His body shifted, muscles rippling and bones cracking, as he transitioned into his wolf form.
With one last glance at her back over his shoulder, he galloped off, powerful legs pushing him into the shadows of the forest.
