Ayzere Barat? What is she doing here? I had completely forgotten about her. And why did she push me?
I looked at Ayzere in confusion as she stepped towards me with an unfriendly attitude. Her eyes darted towards Yukta's phone in my hands.
"Of course, you are enjoying all the attention, aren't you?" Ayzere taunted.
"What are you talking about?" I asked her.
"Look at you acting so innocent. How dare you try to sneak into The Emperors when you don't even deserve it?"
"Excuse me?"
Yukta and Falguni tried to calm Ayzere down and told her to be clear about what she was trying to say. Ayzere threatened them to stay away from the matter and again moved towards me with anger-filled eyes, but before she could reach me, Tejas moved between us.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me behind him; he told Ayzere to not create a scene, but Ayzere's anger increased instead.
"TJ, why are you protecting her after what she did?" she yelled.
"Ayzere, it is about my crew, so I don't need to ask anyone about my own decisions. And as for Hamster- I mean Bhoomi, don't blame her for anything," Tejas said.
"Am I no one to you?" Ayzere accused him.
She glanced at me, and I saw pure rage targeted at me.
"Leave her hand," she told Tejas.
I felt Tejas's grip get tight around my wrist, and suddenly, the warmth around him turned icy.
"Ayzere, I think you already know that I don't like to repeat myself," Tejas said in a calm voice.
His demeanor was cool, but he looked very intimidating. I couldn't see his face because of his back turned towards me, and his six feet height was making my neck hurt as I tried to sneak a look at him.
What is going on here? Why is Ayzere so bothered about what I did? And why is Tejas protecting me? It feels good though. I have gone nuts, haven't I?
"TJ!" Ayzere screamed.
My eyes widened when tears pooled up in her eyes; her face got red like a tomato. She glanced at me, and there was something in her gaze that made me feel like I had stolen something really important from her.
"You bitch!" she cursed.
She was fast, but Tejas was faster than her. I was actually surprised when she moved towards me from the side, but Tejas caught her right arm and moved her away.
"TJ, how could you do this to me?! I hate you!" Ayzere yelled.
She kept cursing, and after a few seconds, she started talking in her native language. Tejas continuously told her that she shouldn't have come here in the first place and should leave as she was unnecessarily creating a scene.
"What the hell is going on here?" Sarthak Sir asked as he arrived.
He looked at all of us in confusion, and after analysing the situation in seconds, he rolled his eyes.
"The three of you in my cabin right now," he announced and marched off.
Ayzere huffed when Tejas scolded her for getting everyone in trouble. She didn't move from her spot, so Tejas ignored her and pulled me in front of him.
"Let's go," he told me.
"My hand," I reminded him as he was still holding my wrist.
He left my hand, and I followed him. I glanced back at Ayzere, and my friends and other trainees were looking at her in anger and confusion. Slowly, she moved and joined us to enter Sarthak's cabin.
