Axel scratched his head and kept staring at me. Then, he suddenly face-palmed.

"Don't tell me you are bothered about a simple kiss," he said.

"Simple? A kiss is a kiss, Axel. How can you take it lightly?" I asked. "I am not doing it."

He clicked his tongue. "Is it that big of a deal? I know you have a boyfriend, but I believe you can differentiate between professional and personal life, right?"

I shook my head. "I can, but this," I pointed at the screen. "I can't. I am not kissing anyone."

"Then go and complain about it to Taylor. I am sure he will say the same thing I did."

I didn't like how Axel was totally not bothered, while I was freaking out. I went to his brother to sort out my problem.

"Sir, I have a concern regarding the second half of the choreography," I told Taylor.

He told me to go ahead as he kept checking some papers.

"I noticed there is a kiss, so can we please remove it?" I suggested.

Taylor snapped his head up. "Excuse me? You want to alter the choreography?"

I waved my hands frantically. "No, I don't want to alter it. I am just bothered about that particular part. Can we please not do it?"

He dropped his pen on the desk and adjusted his spectacles.

"Why don't you want to do it? Did you fight with Axel again?" he asked.

"No, Sir. I can't do it because I have a boyfriend," I announced.

Taylor's reaction was same like his brother's. He repeated what Axel had mentioned about keeping my professional and personal life separate. I understood all of it, but I was not going to do it.

"I will call Axel and see what he feels about your decision," Taylor said.

Soon, Axel was with me in the office and told his brother that he also didn't understand why I was taking the choreography so seriously.

"I am sorry, but I won't do the kiss scene," I said. "It may be something dismissable to you, but it goes against my values."

Axel sighed. "Bhoomi, are you going to give up like this in the future too? You know what kind of routine we are doing, and you already saw other duos kissing in some of the references. As for TJ, he is also an artist. Because of you dating him, you will keep complaining about these trivial things?"

"It may be trivial for you, but it isn't for me. I don't take my relationship lightly," I said. "Tejas may have a different view about it, but I am not comprising with how I feel."

Taylor observed silently before speaking up.

"Bhoomi, if you say that, then what about the actors who are married and still do romantic scenes? Are they disloyal in your eyes? The choreography I have given to you is very emotional, and to do justice to the first half, that kiss is very important. Without it, the whole piece is meaningless," he explained.

I shook my head. "I can't judge anyone for their personal preferences, but it is about me right now. I am sure we can still keep your choreography's essence without the kiss."

"And how will you do that?"

I opened my mouth but froze. "That... I don't know..."

"So you came here without any backup plan?"

I nodded and looked at Axel for help, but he turned away from me.

"You are on your own," he told me.

"Bhoomi, I am waiting to hear what you have in mind. If you suggest a better alternative, then I will be more than happy," Taylor said.
