The stage was set. For mega team evaluations, everything else was mega too. Sarthak Sir seemed to be holding a lot of expectations from all of us because he had also invited guest judges from outside of India.

The last one and a half month was really challenging. To excute my vision, my team supported me throughout, and we were now ready to take the stage. During the rehearsals, the other teams didn't take us much seriously because everytime, we were doing different dance themes; they thought we were changing our plans continuously and were indecisive about our final performance.

And that's what I wanted them to think!

With Nishant's help, I had made a routine that was really a risk, but I was confident in my team.

"Are you ready, Bhoomi Didi?" Ronit asked me.

I took a deep breath. "Yes."

"By the way, the Devil is here to see you."

Automatically, a smile broke out on my face, and Ronit shot me a knowing look.

"Please gather everyone and check if there's anything left," I told him and left to meet my boyfriend.

He was waiting outside our team's waiting room, and the moment he saw me, he gave me an approving once-over.

"The costume really suits you, Bhoomi," he complimented.

I stepped forward and glanced all over him in doubt.

"Why are you calling me by my name?" I investigated. "What happened to 'Hamster'? You no longer love me?"

Tejas shook his head in amusement. "I didn't think you will ask me something like that. And I am calling you by your name because today, we are rivals. I don't want anyone to blame me for going easy on you because you are my girlfriend."

I pulled his cheeks when he smiled cheekily.

"Okay, okay, I am sorry," he apologized. "I don't want anyone to blame you for going easy on me because I am your boyfriend. Happy?"

I took a prideful stance. "Now you are talking. But even if you want to act like rivals, you are still my boyfriend. I won't let you forget that even after I die."

"Do you really need to talk about dying?" Tejas scolded.

"Sorry," I apologized.

"Will your costume get ruined if I hug you?" he asked.

I jumped right into his arms. "Even if it does, I have a lot of these as backup."

Tejas pulled back and stared at me in confusion. "How many costumes are you guys using? Hamster, what have you planned exactly?"

I glanced around us and told him to come closer.

"We are already very close," he teased.

To trouble him, I pulled him down and pressed my lips on his cheek. Once I was done, I grinned as his cheek now had a dark lipstick stamp.

"Wow, TJ, that looks good on you," Danny commented and winked at us as he went past us.

When Tejas furrowed his eyebrows, Danny pointed at his cheek and left while laughing like a donkey.

Tejas sighed as he realised what had happened. I thought he would scold me for applying that amount of lipstick on him, but he turned his other cheek towards me.

"It would be unfair if only one side gets the special treatment," he said.

"I love you," I said and kissed him all over his face.
