Death Reapers left no stone unturned to have an upper hand in the game. They were last year's first runner-ups, and after defeating the previous champions in the semi-finals, their confidence was boosted like a rocket.

Even if we, The Conquerors, had an undefeated winning streak as a new crew, our opponents had a huge portion of the audience cheering for them, and that hype made them more motivated.

"Their dance styles and strategies are very similar to us," Pratik said as we waited for our turn to perform.

"Their crew members are also the same number as us," Shlok pointed out. "I wonder if we coincidentally did the same homework. Look, that's the part we have planned too."

Yasir scratched his head. "How is it possible? We will end up doing almost the same thing like this. They are performing first, so everyone will definitely blame us for copying them."

"They were using the practice room opposite us. Even if our timings were different, both teams were rehearsing almost throughout the day. All of us might have ended up catching on each other's choreographies. It is quite normal," Akshay said.

"But it is troublesome because we are in the finals," Rehman complained. "We should have been more careful."

Everyone in the team shared the same views, and we thought Tejas and other captains would be worried too, but they weren't. Instead, they were okay with Death Reapers performing the choreography parts that would have affected our team's performance.

"Why isn't none of you saying anything?" I asked the captains.

"We are thinking, Shorty," Hriaan replied, popping a chewing gum in his mouth.

"All of you? Guys, I haven't even done the last rehearsal. At least, tell me if you have another plan? I don't want to end up being a sore thumb."

Joy cracked his knuckles and furrowed his eyebrows. "We don't have any other plan, Bhoomi," he said.

I widened my eyes. "What?! There's no plan B? But we have a few variations, right? We even practiced for them. Vibhan, didn't you tell me to watch the third version of our choreo properly before I went to sleep last night? Are we doing a combination or a full mix?"

Vibhan looked at me blankly. "Bhoomi, don't ask so many questions at once. My brain is not working."

"Excuse me? You are the captain. What will the rest of us do if you act like this?"

"Come on, Shorty, calm down. Just because you are a champion now, doesn't mean that everyone else here has won a championship too. For us, it is our first finals. Of course, we are nervous. Just shut up and eat something. Let us think," Hriaan grumbled and shoved a chewing gum in my mouth.

I looked at Tejas, and he was just staring at our opponents in silence.

Don't tell me he is also thinking the same right now. Before we get a solution, our opponents will be done with their performance.

"Tejas, you have a plan ready, right? Just tell us," I said. "Don't worry. No matter how hard it is, we all will pull it off. Our teamwork is as strong as hell now."

Tejas slowly turned his head towards me, and I felt all energy drain from me. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him to the back of our crew.

"Are you serious?" I asked him in panic.

"Unfortunately, yes. We can't do anything now. Our choreographies are the best we came up with, and making last minute changes at the moment will get us eliminated within the first seconds," he said normally.
