Of course, I was happy to see Tejas after that awkward incident at his house, but I was curious about him being at my home.

My parents were acting very normally with him and Hriaan, while Akshay and Vibhan were helping Mom. I enquired about my sister and niece, and Dad told me that both were out with Ritvik Bhaiyya.

I felt happy on hearing that, and since I couldn't stop myself from continuously glancing at Tejas, I glued my eyes to the TV. My favourite comedy program was airing and still my ears were trained on what Tejas and Hriaan were discussing with Dad.

While waiting for my mother to give me a proper meal, my eyes closed on their own, and I was fast asleep within seconds. When I woke up, I was warmly wrapped up in blankets.

I checked the time, and it was 6pm in the evening. Dad got me food from the kitchen, and when I inquired about our guests, he told me that they had left already and Mom was also out to buy some groceries.

I asked him about what he was talking with Tejas and Hriaan, and he told me that he was just asking them about studies and other stuff. While chatting with him, Mom returned with Srishti and Dhara Di. Ritvik Bhaiyya was also with them, helping my sister to come inside the house.

Dad assisted him, and Ritvik Bhaiyya stayed back for dinner. Srishti wasn't leaving Ritvik Bhaiyya even for a second, but no one scolded her.

Dad was enjoying the TV, while Dhara Di and Ritvik Bhaiyya played with Srishti. My mother happily sorted out the groceries she had bought - everything looked lovely-lovely, and even if I was happy with what I was seeing, I was confused about why my sister and mother looked so carefree.

"Maa, did something happen?" I asked her.

She bobbled her head. "Like what?"

"You tell me," I whispered. "Why do you look like you got a lottery? If you are acting in front of Dad, then you are totally overdoing it. Just behave like we do daily."

She told me to eat my food and stop questioning her acting skills. She ignored me when I started interrogating her, so I continued observing my family.

What exactly happened in my absence?

I had used up my whole Sunday in resting, so I was able to recharge myself. I started my daily routine from Monday, and in college, I noticed Tejas, Hriaan, and Akshay behaving normally. I couldn't get a clue at all.

Then, at Sarthak's studio, everyone was busy showering their attention on Tejas, and Akki was busy with his girlfriend, so I got no chance to spy on either of them. As for KD, he was hopeless. Whenever I tried to extract some information from him, he would start mentioning Arushi.

I was totally not surprised when he informed me that Arushi had accepted her feelings for him, and he was over the moon because of it. They had confessed to each other but hadn't started dating yet; I knew that Arushi was worried about her family knowing about it. Still, I believed that KD would handle everything very well.

After the dance classes, I joined Nishant to go to our workplace. Unlike Friday, he didn't chew my head and was showing me some magic tricks. We started our shifts, and during the break, I was searching for him to have dinner together.

When I thought of going back to my team, I caught a glimpse of Nishant behind a pillar.

His head was continuously moving left to right. I went towards him and heard him talking on his phone in a really low voice.

"I have sent you the screenshots... Yeah, okay, bro. Got it," he whispered in the phone.

"Nishant," I called.
