The moment Tejas's blurry silhouette registered in my vision, I sprinted towards him. The surroundings disappeared as the distance between us got shorter, and the voices around me faded.

I wrapped my arms around him, and the momentum would have made us fall, but my boyfriend was used to catching me. I buried my face in his chest and closed my eyes.

I felt pure bliss.

"I missed you so much," I said and enjoyed the warmth.

When I realised that Tejas wasn't responding at all, I looked up at him worriedly.

"Are you okay?" I asked. "Why are you wearing goggles and mask in this heat? Your clothes are black too. Did you get heatstroke? Not feeling well? Why did you come to receive me then?"

Tejas placed his hands on my shoulders. "But... How did you recognise me?"

I tilted my head. "Why wouldn't I recognise you? And please remove these goggles. I want to see your face."

He shook his head. "That won't be good actually. Again, how did you recognise me? My whole face is hidden, and what if you had jumped on another person? You shouldn't take risks like this, Hamster."

"Tejas, even if you make yourself invisible, I will still find you with my eyes closed. This camouflage is nothing in front of my antennas," I said.

He pulled down his mask, and finally, I saw his gorgeous smile. He didn't remove his goggles though. I wondered if he had eye flu.

"I don't have eye flu," he said and kissed my forehead.

"Then why are you hiding your face from me?" I complained.

"Come on, we should get home. You must be tired."

"Don't change the topic."

I tried to pull off the annoying goggles, but Tejas grabbed my wrists with one hand. He held my chin and planted a long kiss on my cheek; I was very happy but still not convinced.

"Small Bean, how could you take off like an unleashed dog and abandon me like this?" Axel complained as he arrived.

I grinned at him; he had brought my bags along with his as I had totally forgotten about him.

"Sorry, Axel," I said.

He sighed. "You really don't look sorry, so don't act. Hi, TJ, nice to meet you again."

Tejas and Axel shook hands, and my boyfriend thanked Axel for accompanying me.

"Where are you staying?" Tejas asked him.

Axel pointed at a driver holding Axel's name card. He told us that Sarthak had sent a driver for him, and he was going to stay at Sarthak's place.

"Now that you have met your boyfriend, I can sleep in peace," Axel teased me.

"You are the one who slept through the whole flight, Titan," I said.

"Sure, sure," he waved me off and bid us goodbye.

He left with Sarthak's driver, and I narrowed my eyes at Tejas; he was avoiding looking at me directly.

He kept my luggage in his car and joined me in the backseat. He caressed my right hand and kissed the knuckles.

As we moved towards my home, I kept staring at him. I knew about his super-fast reflexes, so any attack was going to be futile.

"Tejas, please remove these goggles, or I will break them. Is it something really serious?" I asked him.
