The Black Lake was an oppressive, murky darkness. The frigid water pressed in from all sides, swirling around the still forms tethered to the stone platform deep beneath the surface. Among them, Bellarose floated in a dream-like state, her consciousness flickering between sleep and a restless half-awareness.Though her body lay still, her mind was anything but quiet.

In her mind's eye, Bellarose relived fragments of her most unsettling memories. The Quidditch World Cup,the dark figures, the flash of curses, the burning pain of her scar. She could hear the crackle of green light, the distant laughter of the Death Eaters. Her pulse quickened in her dream-state, and even though she was underwater, her heart pounded in her chest, fighting to wake her.But Bellarose couldn't wake. The magical enchantment held her under, locking her in the nightmare, trapping her in her helplessness. Every now and then, her fingers twitched, her brows furrowed, a small physical manifestation of her mind's distress.

Above the surface, the task had begun. The champions,Harry, Cedric, Krum, and Fleur, were now plunging into the icy depths, each of them focused on their mission to rescue their most cherished person. Fleur tough it would be her sister Gabrielle.

Fleur swam faster, her determination burning even in the freezing water. As she neared the stone platform, the forms of the captives came into view,Ron, Cho, Hermione, and Bellarose, each bound and floating serenely. Fleur's heart raced when she saw Bellarose, her face still, her hair floating around her in the water like a golden halo.

The task was supposed to be simple: get to the platform, retrieve their loved one, and return to the surface. But something was wrong. The air around them seemed charged, as if something sinister lurked just out of sight in the dark waters.

Fleur hesitated for a brief second, her instincts prickling. There shouldn't be any danger... but she couldn't shake the feeling.

She waved her wand, breaking the tether that bound Bellarose to the platform. But as soon as she did, the lake began to stir violently around them. A shadow moved in the corner of her eye,a creature, long and sinuous, with teeth flashing in the dark.

Grindylows.

They weren't supposed to be here. This was meant to be a rescue mission, not a fight. But now they were surrounded.

Before Fleur could react, the Grindylows swarmed her, their thin, bony fingers grabbing at her. She lashed out with a stunning spell, but one of them latched onto her leg, pulling her downward. Her grip on Bellarose loosened as she struggled against the creatures.

Cedric, not far away, noticed the sudden disturbance. He had Cho in his arms, ready to ascend, but the sight of Fleur struggling caught his attention. He acted quickly, swimming toward them and blasting the Grindylows away from Fleur with a well-placed charm.

But as he helped her fight off the creatures, the Grindylows attacked again, this time with more force. The lake was no longer the serene rescue zone it was supposed to be. Harry, carrying Ron, fought off another set of Grindylows nearby, but the water was alive with movement now, and they were all in danger.

Cedric's wand flashed as he repelled yet another creature, then quickly turned back to Fleur. "Let's get her out of here!"
Together, Cedric and Fleur secured Bellarose between them and began their ascent toward the surface, their movements urgent as they fought to outswim the Grindylows.

Fleur's heart pounded with fear, but she refused to let go of Bellarose. She had made a promise to bring her back safely.

The surface of the lake broke with a loud splash as Cedric and Fleur emerged, gasping for air. Bellarose was limp between them, still unconscious from the enchantment, her skin pale from the cold. The crowd on the shore erupted into cheers, though some murmurs of concern rippled through as they saw the state of the captives.
