Lena decided to spend a few more days back home, enjoyin' time with her friends and soakin' in the excitement of the recent baby news. She hadn't shared the news about her baby girl with her best friends yet, and she was lookin' forward to seein' their reactions.

That afternoon, she met up with her two best friends, Jade and Renee, along with a few others who came into town once they heard Lena was back. They all gathered at a cozy diner, their laughter and chatter fillin' the place as they caught up.

"So?" Jade asked, leanin' in with a grin. "What's the news? Boy or girl?"

Lena couldn't help but smile, her excitement bubblin' over. "It's a girl!"

The table erupted with squeals of excitement, her friends rushin' to hug her and shower her with love. "A little mini-Lena!" Renee exclaimed. "Oh, girl, she's gon' be spoiled."

They spent the next hour talkin' about baby names, each of her friends throwin' around suggestions. Some were serious, some were more for laughs, but they all shared in the joy of Lena's news. As they chatted, Lena felt a deep sense of gratitude for her friends—they were more than just her girls; they were her family.

A Little Shopping for Baby Girl

After eatin', the group decided to hit up some baby stores nearby. They laughed as they browsed through the racks of tiny clothes, pickin' out little onesies and blankets, each of them weighin' in on what they thought Lena's daughter would look cutest in.

"Oh, look at this!" Renee held up a tiny pink dress, smilin' wide. "She has to have this one. She's gon' be a whole little diva."

Lena laughed, noddin'. "Alright, add it to the pile."

As they went from store to store, Jade started talkin' about her classes and how she was doin' a mix of in-person and online. Some of the other friends chimed in about their own plans, catchin' Lena up on everything she'd missed since goin' away. It felt good to be back, surrounded by her girls, talkin' about the little things, the big things, and everything in between.

Movie Night at Renee's Place

That evening, they all headed to Renee's house for a classic girls' night in. Renee had set up the living room with cozy blankets, pillows, and fairy lights, creatin' a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone changed into pajamas, some wearin' matching sets, others goin' for the comfiest sweats they could find.

They ordered a ridiculous amount of food—pizza, wings, fries, the works—and settled in to watch a few movies. Laughter filled the room as they teased each other about their movie choices, shared snacks, and caught up on all the gossip. They'd known each other long enough to talk about anything, so it wasn't long before the conversation turned to relationships.

"So, Lena," Jade began, lookin' over with a raised eyebrow. "What's goin' on with you and Que? Y'all back together, or is he still in the 'we'll see' category?"

Lena sighed, smilin' softly. "It's... complicated, y'know? I still care about him, and he's been there for me. But it's hard to just forget everything that's happened. I don't know what the future holds, but... we'll see."

Renee nodded, understandin' the struggle. "Girl, sometimes the heart wants what it wants, even when it don't make sense. But as long as he treats you right, that's what matters."

Lena appreciated their support, feelin' the love and acceptance from her friends. No matter what happened with Que, she knew she'd always have them by her side.

A Night to Remember

They spent the rest of the night watchin' movies, sharin' stories, and just enjoyin' bein' together. The room was filled with laughter, love, and a sense of togetherness that Lena hadn't felt in a while. She knew life would be different soon—she was about to be a mom, with responsibilities and challenges she couldn't yet imagine. But moments like this reminded her that she didn't have to face it alone.

As the night wound down, Lena found herself feelin' grateful for everythin' she had. Her family, her friends, and even Que—they were all pieces of her story, parts of her life that made her feel whole.

And as she fell asleep that night, Lena couldn't help but smile, thinkin' of her baby girl and the beautiful, supportive world she was about to bring her into.
