Lena sighed as they stepped off the plane, feelin' that mix of sadness and relief. She didn't wanna leave the Maldives—it was like they were in their own lil' paradise, just the two of 'em—but she was also ready to be back, ready to start this next chapter as a family. Que squeezed her hand, givin' her that look that always made her feel grounded, like they could face anythin' together.

"Home sweet home," he murmured, smilin' down at her as they made their way through the airport.

"Yeah," she nodded, smilin' back. "Can't wait to see Amina. Missed my baby girl so much."

They both knew it was time to get back to reality, to the life they'd been buildin', but Lena held onto the memories of their honeymoon, knowin' it was somethin' that would carry her through whatever came next.

Reunited with Amina

When they got to Que's parents' house, Amina was waitin', lookin' up at them with those big eyes as soon as they walked through the door. Lena's heart melted as Amina squealed, reachin' out for her. She scooped her up, holdin' her close, kissin' her lil' face all over, feelin' like she hadn't seen her in forever.

Que was right beside her, his arm around both of them, smilin' down at their daughter. "Daddy missed you, too, princess," he said, brushin' a kiss against her cheek as she giggled, all wrapped up in their love.

Settlin' Back into Routine

Back at their place, Lena started gettin' things back in order, unpackin' bags, sortin' through laundry, and fallin' back into her usual routine. It felt good, gettin' back to the rhythm of home, but she couldn't help but feel that little itch of wantin' more. She was workin' hard in her IT program, but she knew it was only the start. She wanted to keep buildin', for her, Que, and Amina.

Later that night, Que came up behind her while she was fixin' dinner, wrappin' his arms around her waist, restin' his chin on her shoulder. "Been thinkin' 'bout somethin'," he murmured, his voice soft.

"Oh yeah?" she asked, stirrin' the pot on the stove. "What's that?"

"I'm ready to make some changes," he said quietly, his tone serious. "Ready to step back from the business a lil' more. I know it's what we need. What you and Amina need."

Lena turned, surprised but grateful, her heart swellin' as she looked up at him. "You sure, Que?"

He nodded, smilin' down at her. "Yeah, I'm sure. We got too much to lose, and I ain't willin' to risk it. I want this life with you, all the way."

Lookin' Toward the Future

They finished dinner, sittin' together with Amina, enjoyin' their lil' family time. Lena felt that hope growin' stronger, feelin' like everythin' they'd worked for was fallin' into place. Que was finally ready to start steppin' away from the dangers of his past, and they were both ready to move forward together.

That night, as they lay in bed, Que held her close, whisperin' promises of the life they'd build, one filled with love, family, and peace. Lena drifted off to sleep, knowin' they were on the right path, takin' every step toward a brighter, safer future.
