Lena woke up to the soft light of morning filtering through the blinds, feelin' Que's arm draped protectively over her. She stretched, feelin' a sense of warmth and security she hadn't felt in a while. The previous night's closeness lingered in her mind, and as she lay there, she felt at peace. Que stirred beside her, slowly openin' his eyes and smilin' as he saw her awake.

"Mornin', beautiful," he murmured, pullin' her closer for a soft kiss.

"Mornin'," Lena replied, a smile playin' on her lips. They lay there for a few quiet moments, enjoyin' each other's presence, before the sound of Amina's babbling from the other room brought them back to reality.

Que chuckled, "Sounds like baby girl's up." He gave Lena a playful wink as he got out of bed, stretching before headin' to check on their daughter. Lena took a moment, watchin' him, feelin' grateful to have this sense of normalcy with him.

A Family Morning

Amina was full of energy, greetin' her dad with big smiles and giggles as he picked her up and brought her into the room. Lena felt her heart melt as she watched Que interact with their daughter, his gentle nature showin' in the way he held her and played with her. They'd been through a lot, but moments like this reminded her why she was still fightin' for this family.

After feedin' Amina, Lena set up breakfast for herself and Que, and they all gathered around the table, enjoyin' a simple meal together. As they ate, Lena glanced at Que, feelin' a sense of calm, even with all the challenges they faced.

"Que, I know we got a lot goin' on... but I'm grateful for moments like this," she said softly, reachin' for his hand across the table.

He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Me too, Lena. This is what it's all about. We're gonna make this work, no matter what."

She nodded, knowin' he meant every word.

Future Plans

Later that day, after takin' care of a few things, Que sat down with Lena to discuss some plans. He wanted to make sure she felt safe and secure, especially with the recent events.

"I just want you and Amina to feel safe here. I know there's been a lot goin' on, but I'm right here for both of y'all," he said, his tone serious, letting her know how much he cared about their security.

Lena took a deep breath, feelin' the weight of his words. The thought of finally bein' settled, back in Georgia, close to family, gave her a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a long time. She nodded, meetin' Que's gaze. "I feel it, Que. We finally got our family close, and that's what matters now."

With that, they both felt a bit more at ease, knowin' they were workin' toward a future where they could finally breathe easy. And as the day went on, Lena felt a renewed sense of hope, ready to face whatever came next with Que by her side.
