Chapter 95 - Go Swimming

A week later, Pond was completely recovered. He replaced Joong with the organization's work, letting Joong focus on managing the group. Gemini and Fourth didn't need to do much, because there were four older brothers in the family, so they only needed to do a few light tasks. They let Gemini and Fourth tinker with the system if they wanted to, or else they could go racing or go out.

Joong got home late today, so Dunk prepared dinner and brought it to the company for him. Afterwards, both of them told Akan that they wouldn't be coming back tonight, and that they would sleep at the company, so they wouldn't have to wake up early to drive back tomorrow. Joong's business had been piling up lately, so he needed more time to handle it. At times like this, although Dunk didn't understand what he was doing with those papers full of letters and numbers, he still sat obediently on the chair playing with his phone while waiting for him. Sometimes, he would go down to sit at the company's water counter.

GeminiFourth was the same, the two of them went racing until late at night, then went drinking with Pifah and Rin, it was too late so he decided to carry Fourth up to the bar room to sleep, anyway this was the room he bought, he could sleep there.

Right now, there were only Pond and Phuwin in the house. Pond had just returned from the armory. The new batch of weapons imported from Dew was very good. With OhmNanon helping to improve the weapons, his organization had created several special guns. Pond returned home and saw that the house was quiet, so he looked around a bit. He took off his coat and threw it on the chair, then went to look for Phuwin.

When he left the house in the afternoon, Phuwin said that he wasn't going anywhere today, so he knew that he must be home. Pond went upstairs to open the door to look for Phuwin but couldn't find him. Then he discovered a noise under the swimming pool, so he gently stepped down to look for him. This swimming pool was a little smaller than the one Pond had used to teach Phuwin to swim before, and was located in a private area connected to Pond's room. Phuwin could stand up with the water level up to his chest. But today, Phuwin changed things up and went swimming.

Pond walked down to the edge of the pool, watching Phuwin intently immerse himself in the water. Ever since he taught him to swim, Phuwin was no longer afraid of water. He started to swim on his own and sometimes used the pool to practice swimming. He sat down on the bench next to the pool, propped his elbows on his legs, and looked at him.

Phuwin was so busy swimming that he didn't notice him until he swam back and saw him sitting there. Phuwin was a bit surprised and stood up.

Pond spoke, not too harshly but with a slight frown. Phuwin was a little scared when he saw that look in his eyes, feeling like if he got closer he would scold him immediately.

"What time is it that you can't go swimming? Aren't you afraid of catching a cold?"

"What's cold? I'm not weak enough to be afraid of the cold."

Phuwin argued back to him, knowing that he cared about him, but he still liked to argue. Before, he couldn't stop Dunk and Gemini from doing anything he wanted, now there was even more, he didn't care. Pond still had a loving gaze towards him, he didn't say anything more and still silently watched him swim.

Phuwin stood in the water, saw him looking at him like that and reached out his hand.

"Do you take a bath?"

Pond was about to refuse, but when he saw Phuwin's hand and eyes in front of him, he stood up and took off his shirt, then grabbed his hand and jumped in. The sound of water echoed from his contact, Phuwin tried to wipe away the few drops of water that had just fallen on his face.

Pond swam back and forth with him a few laps. After all, this pool was smaller than the one he usually took Phuwin to, so they quickly returned. Phuwin swam for a while and was tired. He stopped to stand in the water to catch his breath. Pond stood opposite him. Seeing Phuwin like this, he suddenly burst out laughing.

"Why are you laughing?"

Phuwin wondered, suddenly he laughed, was he crazy, before he always had a cool face, now he kept laughing crazily at him.

"Smile because you are beautiful"

Phuwin successfully froze, that sentence hit his eardrums straight. There he was again, ever since he fell in love with him, he kept saying these sentences whenever they were alone, this made his ears turn red unconsciously, he still wasn't used to it, because he didn't know how to be romantic, and where did he learn those cheesy things. He was sure it was either from Joong or Gemini, these three people recently often gathered together besides work.

Phuwin did not reply to him, he was shy so his head gradually sank into the water, and finally sank completely. Pond stood there watching him do that strange action, he knew he was shy, and now he was hiding from him by sinking into the water, he wanted to see how long he could stay submerged.

Pond stood watching Phuwin's head peeking out from under the water, waiting for him to stop and stand up, reaching out to brush his hair back. No matter what, he had to finally come up and look at him. Pond was just waiting for that, he immediately stepped forward and pushed him back until his back hit the edge of the pool, and just like that, he placed a kiss on his lips.
