It's been a day since Nitya was at Raghavendra's home, and all her time was spent with Chaitra and her nephew. She got to know that Rahul is no longer in a relationship with Shobha because of the show she put up in front of Nitya's in-laws as Aravind scolded her a lot, making her leave. And later, when Drishith got to know about her pushing Chaitra, he made sure to destroy her modelling career and show her how to be humble. Nitya was a bit shocked to hear that, but it didn't affect her much.

Just like the other day, she was ready to go to Chaitra's room when she saw Drishith.

"Umm Nitya Are you free today?" He asked as Nitya nodded "Actually today I am going to attend a party tonight, and many investors will be joining. You can also join, it would be good for your company's growth too." He asked genuinely wanting her to join.

Nitya was about to deny, but then she remembered what the other reason was she came here for as she nodded. No matter what, she will ask him what he was doing behind her back while in front of her, he didn't care much.

She didn't realize when the day spent while she was making scenarios in her head how she was going to ask him about everything. And soon it was the time. She got ready in a green ankle-length off-shoulder dress with the necklace given by her husband adorning her neck. She looked in the mirror, sending a picture to her husband, only to get a heart instantly with a love you.

Smiling, she walked out of the room and saw her brother waiting downstairs.

"Who will be with Vadina?" She asked, walking to him.

"Her mother arrived this evening to spend some time with them. They both needed some alone time with each other." He said making her nod walking out.

Drishith opened the door of the car for her as she just nodded sitting inside. She looked at him rolling eyes at his behavior.

"I didn't know a girl's marriage can change her brother so much." She smirked, looking at him "Or else I would have married sooner."

Drishith heard her but didn't react much, knowing he deserves every bit of taunt. Once they were on the road, Nitya looked at him, ready to ask answers to her questions, which would be hard, but she would do it.

Looking at him, she spoke, "Do you know any Kavi?" She asked and noticed a little flicker of expression, which he hid instantly, and she smirked.

"No," he replied in one word, looking ahead.

"Ohhh" Nitya stretched her ohh looking at him. "He came back into my life."

Drishith looked at her with furrowing brows "What? How dare..........." He stopped realizing what he was about to say as he covered it with a clearing of throat "Who is he? And coming back in life, means." He acted unknown.

"He is my ex-boyfriend, and he blackmailed me." She said, noticing his every action and expression.

"That bastard" Drishith said, tightening his fist, but before he could speak, Nitya spoke again.

"You should have killed him instead of carving an eagle." She said it with no expression on her face.

Drishith looked at her, and he knew she knew already, so he decided to stay mum.

"May I know why were you helping me when you never liked me?"

"I never disliked you."

"You hated me."

"I never did."

Nitya was getting irritated with his replies as she took a deep breath. "Why did you carve an eagle on his chest if I didn't matter to you?"
