070. WE'LL SEE YOU AFTER

Chapter seventy

"We'll see you after." 

They all were still standing in there as Dwight was on his knees, he was looking at Scarlett and Daryl "look at me." Rick told him, as Dwight turned looking at him "why?" Rick asked "cause I want it stopped. I want Negan dead." Dwight shared "so why don't you kill him?" Rick asked "it can't just be me. They're all Negan." Dwight shared, as Tara stepped forward "that girl you murdered.." she shared, leaning down to him "she had a name. Her name was Denise, and she was a doctor. And she helped people." she shared "I wasn't aiming for her." Dwight said.

As Scarlett lunged at him, grabbing him by the neck, she slammed him into the wall and held him there, as Daryl came up aiming his knife at his face "do it. Do it." Tara said "you wanna end it this way..you go ahead." Dwight choked out "I'm sorry. I am. I know you want to." Dwight shared "he could just be here to see if you were here." Rick shared "we don't trust you." Scarlett told Dwight "he owned me. But not anymore. What I did, I was doing it for someone else. She just got away. So now I'm here. So are you because of her." Dwight shared "do it!" Tara voiced.

"There's another choice." Dwight said "fuck you." Scarlett told him "she's right. Daryl, you knew her." Tara shared "you can trust me." Dwight said "we can't." Scarlett told him "we work together, we can stop him." Dwight shared "so you can betray us, no thanks." Scarlett told him "you knew me then, and you know me now. You know I'm not lying. I'm not." Dwight shared "do it. Do it!" Tara voiced, as Daryl brought the knife down, Scarlett was still holding onto him "they have Sasha, if she's even alive." Rosita shared.

"Why didn't you say something? He could be our only chance to get her back." Jesus shared "because I don't trust him. But I trust Daryl." Rosita shared "Negan's coming soon." Dwight shared, as Rick stepped toward's them "tomorrow. Three trucks probably. Twenty saviors and him. I can slow them down, bring some trees down in the road, by a little time for you guys to get ready. If you can take them out, that's where we start. You kill them, I'll radio back tot eh sanctuary." Dwight shared "the sanctuary?" Rick asked.

"Where Negan lives. That's what they call it. I can radio back to them and say everything's okay. You drive the trucks back, I can lead you right inside, and with the right plan, we can wipe out the rest. Check to see if your friends still alive. Then, we get the workers on our side, build our numbers up, and go from outpost to outpost and end this." Dwight shared "keep talking and maybe I won't kill you." Scarlett told him.

Where they then let Dwight leave, as Rick, Scarlett and Daryl stood at the gate watching him walk to a car "we just started it..the whole thing." Rick shared "if he's lying.." Scarlett said "I'm gonna kill him real slow. When this is done, I don't give a damn if he's sorry. I will kill that son of a bitch." Daryl shared, as they watched him drive off "if he's lying, this is already over." Rick shared, putting his arm around Scarlett, the two turned walking off.

The next morning, knowing he was coming, they had sent Judith to the hilltop with Jesus and Enid, deciding for them to stay there instead of come help them incase things go wrong, as Scarlett put her hand on the back of Carl's head, she kissed him on the head "we'll see you after." she told him, as Carl nodded, Scarlett walked off with Rick.

Where the two had left and gone and gave Jadis the rest of the guns she asked for and as they did, they all began heading back to alexandria, as Rick and Scarlett drove in, Jadis and her people road in behind them on bikes and garbage trucks, as they all then got out of their vehicles, Jadis walked up to Scarlett and Rick with Tamiel and Brion behind her "what you fight for." Jadis shared, looking around "not the place..the people, each other. You're a part of that now." Rick shared "we take. We don't bother..our way. May be another way." Jadis shared, looking to Scarlett "yours?" she asked, motioning to Rick "my husband." Scarlett told her, turning around and walking off, choosing not to entertain her, Rick turned following her, putting his arm around her.
