Chapter sixty one

"I am coming with you."

Things were going on as normal, although not for Scarlett cause she was starting to realize that she was pregnant, as she sat at the bottom of the bed, Rick was crouched down in front of her "it's..it's not gonna be like last time. I'm not gonna die on you, Scarlett. We're okay. Me, you, Carl, Judith, this baby." he shared, putting his hand on her stomach "we're gonna be okay." he told her, and as he did, Scarlett leaned down and kissed him, and as she did, Rick kissed her back.

But as the day went on Scarlett had made lunch, as her, Judith, Carl and Rick were all eating, the front door to their house opened "Rick? Scarlett?" Abraham asked, as Scarlett and Rick looked to him "we've got a problem that the youngin's don't need to hear." Abraham shared, as Carl stood up "I got her." he told them, standing up and grabbed Judith from Scarlett, he turned walking off, Scarlett and Rick stood up walking toward's Abraham "what happened?" Rick asked "that man Daryl met in the woods, Dwight. He and a few men attacked us. Killed Denise. Eugene got injured." Abraham shared, as Rick nodded "I'll meet you there." he told him, as Abraham nodded, he turned walking out, Scarlett and Rick looked at each other.

The next morning, Judith's monitor was on the side table showing that she was still asleep in her crib, as Rick had his arms wrapped around Scarlett, the two were sleeping, as Rick kissed her on the neck, Scarlett smiled, bringing her hand back and running her hand through his hair, Rick kissed her on the neck again "this is good." he whispered to her "besides the fact that the saviors know where we live. And I heard Maggie asked Glenn and Michonne to put up more bins and watch points." Scarlett shared, as Rick turned looking at the monitor, seeing Judith wasn't even awake, he looked back at her "Judith isn't even awake yet. Which means the longer we stay in this bed.." he shared, kissing down her body.

"It stays good." Scarlett said, smirking "mm-hmm." Rick told her, his voice vibrating through her body, as he came back up to her face, kissing her, Scarlett kissed him back "you don't have to worry, because when they come for us, we'll end it, the whole thing. This won't be like before. We're putting everything in place and these people know what to do now. The worlds ours and we know how to take it. Everything we need is right here inside these walls. We're not losing any of it again." Rick shared, putting his hand on her stomach "especially not this." he told her, as Scarlett brought her arm around his neck and pulled him down to her, kissing him again, Rick kissed her back.

But soon staying in that bed didn't last cause Judith woke up, as Scarlett and Rick got up and got dressed, where as Scarlett gave Judith and Carl breakfast someone knocked on their door, Scarlett went to put Judith down "no, you stay I'll get it." Rick told her, walking out of there, Scarlett looked at Carl, the two heard the door open but no voices, as Rick came walking up to the dining room table "I've gotta go. But you two stay here and be ready for a fight." he shared "where are you going?" Scarlett asked him "I promise you I will be back." Rick told her, turning and walking off "dad?" Carl asked.

But none of them got answer other then Rick's footsteps heading upstairs, and as they did, Scarlett looked at Carl "eat your breakfast." she told him, as she continued to, Carl did the same, as the two heard footsteps heading downstairs and then out the front door, hearing it shut.

The sun was soon setting, as Scarlett had put Judith in her crib, she was standing outside on her porch, as Carl walked out and stood next to her "you shouldn't be out here." he told her "I hate that he didn't tell us where he was going." Scarlett shared, and as she did, the two then saw Rick walked down the street and up to their house and as he did, Scarlett and Carl ran off the porch and went up and hugged him, as Rick hugged them back "I'm sorry. I had to move fast. There was no time to explain." he shared, pulling away "Carol left a letter saying she was leaving. Me and Morgan went after her. She was attacked on the road by the saviors took for of them out. Morgan's still out looking for her." he shared.
