087. WALKER SKIN WEARING FREAKS

Chapter eighty seven

"Walker skin wearing freaks." 

Standing there, thunder crashed "you die now." a man whispered, as dog was barking, they began to be surrounded "I ain't gonna let nothing happen to you." Daryl told Scarlett, as Scarlett looked to Magna and Kumiko "go now." she said, as Kumiko grabbed the mask, her and Magna headed out, as Aaron stabbed Jesus in the head so he didn't turn, two walkers began coming toward's them, as Daryl brought up his crossbow and shot one, another one came at them, as Scarlett swung her axe killing it "Scarlett." Daryl told her "you have to help Aaron carry Jesus. I will cover you." Scarlett shared, swinging her axe, she killed the walker to her left and the one in front of her.

Daryl and Aaron pulled Jesus off the ground, as Scarlett swung her axe down on another one, she turned to follow them but heard footsteps behind her as she turned around her eyes went wide, seeing a walker running at her, an arrow flew into her and killed her, Daryl ran up to her "come on! Let's go!" he voiced, dragging her out of there, the two went through the gate, as Daryl closed it, Scarlett locked it, as the two backed up, looking at the walkers against it, they turned running after the others.

Meanwhile back in alexandria with it thundering out, Rick couldn't sleep as he was up, he heard the sound of the front door open, as he got up out of bed and ran to his bedroom door, he opened it and saw a shadow of man holding a shovel on the wall by the front door, his eyes went wide, as he turned running out of his room, he quickly headed into the twins room and closed the door behind him, as he ran over to Daryl's body, he shook him "Daryl. Daryl." he quietly told him, as Daryl groaned "what?" he asked him "there's a man in our house." Rick told him and when he did, Daryl sat up "there's a what?" he asked.

"A man." Rick told him, as Daryl got up, he grabbed his crossbow off the night stand and walked to the bedroom door "no..no.." Rick told him, running after him, he grabbed onto him and as he did, Daryl turned to him "shh." he told him, as Caroline groaned "god, what is going on?" she asked "Rick thinks there's a man in the house." Daryl told her "I don't think. I know! I saw him!" Rick voiced, as Caroline got out of bed, grabbing her gun "well if you saw him maybe you should stop screaming before he finds us. We have to get Judith." she shared, as the three of them headed to the bedroom door.

Daryl put his hand on it and opened it a crack and as he did, the three of them peaked out into the hallway, they saw the man walked out of Judith's room and it was Negan "Negan's out of his.." Rick went to say, as Caroline put her hand around his mouth "Daryl, what do we do?" she whispered, as they watched him head down the hallway and into their mom's bedroom "move now." Daryl whispered, as he opened the door, Rick and Caroline went out first, heading across the way to Judith's room, Daryl followed after, keeping his crossbow aimed down at the end of the hallway, ready to shoot him if he had to, he backed into Judith's room and closed the door.

The three could heard rummaging through drawers, Daryl kept his crossbow at the door, as Rick climbed onto Judith's bed, shaking her "wake up." he told her, and when he did, Judith furrowed her brows, opening her eyes and seeing them all "why are you all in my room?" she asked "Negan's here." Caroline told her, as Judith sat up "what?" she asked, her eyes going wide as she turned grabbing her gun, she got off the bed and ran to the door, but as she did, Daryl turned stopping her "no, no! He doesn't know we're awake. If we go out there now he'll.." he shared.

As the sound of door being slammed shut could be heard, Daryl turned around, walking to the door, he opened and peaked out along with Judith, Caroline and Rick, the four watched Negan's shadow walking down the stairs and then heard the front door open and close, which was when the four of them moved out of the bedroom, heading down the stairs "I don't have a weapon." Rick told them "it doesn't matter. We have to get him." Caroline shared, as Daryl opened the front door, he ran out followed by Judith, Caroline and Rick, where Rick tried to close the door, as Caroline turned around, shutting it for him, she picked Rick up as she ran after Daryl and Judith.
