I'm back!!! My wedding was great with only 1 minor hiccup and the holidays were relaxing! I hope everyone had good and safe holidays. I will start releasing 3 chapters a week again and keep an eye out for new works. I have updates coming for my regulus story and my Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes story.
With all of that noted I am also working on the lilyxOCxmarauders story titled Marks like so many of you have asked and will be releasing chapters for that soon. I want to have a minimum of 30 chapters written before I start releasing to give me some creative freedom and room to change things up.
NOW BUCKLE UP THIS IS A LONG CHAPTER!!!

Regulus didn't take kindly to Victoria's words, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't have doubts. He couldn't figure out how she did all of it though. He projected himself into her mind. He waited days for her to fall asleep curating a perfect place to meet her. She twisted it. She found a way into his own mind and now he had a gut feeling he had screwed up. After days of not eating or sleeping she was still stronger than him. She was at rock bottom and yet he couldn't control her or convince her.
That was why as he stood in front of the doors of Malfoy Manor, he felt his heart in his throat as he swallowed, he felt like he was choking on failure and fear. Walking into the dining room the Dark Lord hadn't looked at him, but he could tell he knew he was there.
"Spit it out boy." the Dark Lord said coldly as he looked at the pages of the daily prophet his spoon stirring his tea on its own. Regulus swallowed as his breathing started to grow ragged. He could feel the sweat building on his brow.
"She said if you want her to come get her yourself." Regulus said in a shaky breath.
Back at Hogwarts the medical wing of the school had been shut down temporarily. It wasn't a big deal after all most kids had a minor cold or trouble sleeping. It was nothing poppy couldn't handle from her office. Victoria was the only real patient in the hospital wing, and she would remain there until someone could talk some kind of sense into her.
Victoria was avoiding food again and sleep. The only sleep she gained came from potions poppy would force her to take. Alex and May were no longer forced to watch her wither away, but they still felt the need to take care of 3/4ths of the marauders. Peter and Renee still were MIA despite recent events.
That's when the only adult besides Poppy stepped up. Professor Moore had been worried sick about the poor girl. Once she stopped attending classes, he had asked Flitwick about her, but the small man never said much. If it was up to Moore, the short man wouldn't be head of house anymore for his lack of care.
"I heard you've refused food, water, and now sleep." The tall dark man spoke in his deep warm voice. His brown eyes looking at the frail Victoria with worry.
"I can't let my guard down. He'll get in." Victoria whispered. Professor Moore sighed placing a small case on the ground next to his feet as he sat down. "My mind is dangerous M, He'll use it to hurt them, and I can't let him." The man smiled missing the nickname.
"Hurt who?" He asked with a look of concern painting his features.
"James and Sirius and all the others. I can't let him hurt them." Her voice was shaky, tears welled up in her eyes.
"That's why you broke up with them?" Moore asked feeling his heart break as he watched her tears fall. "Why you left Alex and May?" The girl nodded, her body curling up into a ball as she hugged her knees to her chest. A heartbreaking sob leaving her throat as she continued to cry. When the sobs softened, she picked her head back up.
