30. Victoria and Sneak Peeks

I'm sorry. I intended to release this chapter last week, but it was unfinished, and school has been kicking my butt! I don't want to push out crappy chapters either which is why this one is so short. I may rewrite it but for now it'll have to do, and I will have my next chapter out tomorrow night!

"I feel like these songs are too much. Maybe something softer?" Victoria was anxious and paranoid. Her new album didn't have a clear genre. She had multiple genres throughout it, and she liked that, but she was struggling to pick which three songs to use for the performance. 

Alex and May were trying to figure out which songs fit each of her soulmates best. They thought three songs for three soulmates was appropriate since the album was about them, even if Sirius didn't know. It just seemed odd since most songs were written before she had started dating two of them, but Alex couldn't help it he loved the song "I wanna be your girlfriend." which had been written for Remus. It would definitely bring their relationship out of the shadows too and Alex was desperate for his best friend to be loved loudly by her matches. 

"Well, Yellow and Girlfriend are both on the list I can't possibly imagine better options for James and Remus. All we need is a song for Sirius." May said excitedly as she wrote the mini set list again using the new color changing ink Alex had bought her. They had recently gotten together as they had finally stopped denying the letters.  

"A song for me huh?" Sirius said from behind the girl causing her to jump. 

"What? Nooooo" Victoria said in a squeaky voice as Sirius took the seat next to her. May quickly put the paper away. 

"Tu es trop mignon amour" (you are too cute love) Sirius chuckled as he tried to hide his grin behind his cup. Victoria groaned annoyed.

"Ugh ya know I checked out a book about French yesterday." She turned to him with a smirk. "I'll figure out what you're saying eventually magic man." Sirius choked on his drink laughing at the girl's choice of words. May and Alex couldn't help but watch the two in shock seeing how well they were getting on. Alex had also decided on the perfect song for Sirius.

The week passed quickly and now Victoria stood in front of the crowd who was either cheering, swaying, or dancing with their partners. Remus and James stood proudly watching her get ready for the last song of her set list. Alex and May watched Sirius closely as they waited for the next song to start. Peter and Renee stood anxiously. They thought the plan would go south and Sirius would reject her even more harshly than before. 

"This next song is called You Really Got Me. It's a bit different style wise for me, but I hope you enjoy it." Victoria said into the microphone with a big smile.

 As the song started Sirius's eyes lit up. The music moved along a she sang and danced with the band members on stage. He was eating it up. The song was fun and loud and different from the last two and was definitely his favorite of the three. 

After her performance she immediately ran to James jumping into his arms as he kissed her happily smiling into it. If people didn't know they were together before EVERYONE knew now and James loved it. Cameras were going off as the daily prophet and a few smaller papers all fought to capture the moments from the stage to her kiss with James Potter. 

"I think it's my turn prongs" Remus said with a smile standing behind the girl who quickly whirled around launching herself into the tall boy. Her arms wrapped around his midsection. 

Remus hugged her tightly before holding her face in both his hands kissing her passionately in front of everyone. It was a first for him; publicly declaring something like this. His insecurity and worries of being compared to James by other people outside the relationship made him nervous but he couldn't help himself. She had boldly claimed him in front of everyone, so he only felt right doing the same.

Students knew three of the four marauders shared a soulmate. Clearly Victoria had three soulmates. Now all the student's eyes were on Sirius Black wondering what actions he'd take but there seemed to be a mixture of disappointment and slight relief as Sirius chuckled before clapping James on the back. He didn't make a move toward Victoria. 

Victoria sat with the three boys who were cracking jokes as she answered a few questions from journalists. Telling them about the overall vibe of the album. The release date for it. She spoke excitedly about her music and her inspirations behind it such as her soulmates, friends, and family. 

As she finally finished a few small interviews about the albums and the public displays of her soulmates she was finally able to relax and hang out. Peter was throwing chips at James who was failing to catch them. Sirius was having a badly executed chugging contest with Renee and Remus spoke about butterflies with May while Alex watched her with loving eyes. It was a sight to see all of her friends and her boyfriend's getting along. It was nice and she couldn't have felt any happier in that moment.
