Promises, promises.

That free weekend did Kali well, her mind clearer than before. The Zabini wedding was in five weeks, which means that she has to talk to her mum about her permission to go. She still didn't have a plan on how to convince her mum to let her go, but she was sure to come up with something.

Blaise asked Kali if she wanted to meet at the astronomy tower when she got back, so that is where she was walking to. As soon as she stepped foot at Hogwarts she rushed to where he should be waiting, missing him a bit too much for just two days apart.

It was the evening, saying bye took a little too long and they just floo powdered into the school instead of taking the train. Carla was tired from dealing with her brother for the weekend, so she went directly to bed, not wanting to stay up another moment.

Kali approached the tower, hoping to see Blaise already waiting for her. Cautiously, she stepped inside, not seeing him until he emerged like the shadows. He mixed into them like a cloak.

A smile broke out on her face, her cheeks warming up. "Hi!"

He chuckled, approaching her and leaning down, this time planting a kiss on her lips that left her a bit shocked. "Hello, my darling. How was your weekend?"

"I- It was good." She was flustered from him being so close and the kiss he just delivered.

He noticed her reaction, and started doubting his forwardness. Never has he had to think so much about moving too fast. "We already passed our first date so I can kiss you freely, right?"

Nodding, she clasped her hands behind her back. "Yes, I would like that."

There was no one else in the world that Blaise would think is as cute as Kali. Just seeing her in front of him has him wanting to throw himself off the tower. That's a bit dramatic, but it's true.

Like a reminder, Blaise saw the gift he brought her from the corner of his eye. He reached over, grabbing the bouquet of wildflowers and the pumpkin pasties from the ledge of the tower. Wasting money was like second nature to him, and spending it on her was even better. "To replace the ones I bought you last week."

Her face lit up, eyes wide open and shimmering. "You have to stop buying me things. I feel like I owe you back."

His eyebrows furrowed. "I can do what I want." He said, the usual sassiness in his tone elevated by ten. "You don't owe me anything, either. I just like buying things."

"Being materialistic isn't good." She said in mock anger, not really mad that he took the time and effort to buy her something that he knew she would like. "But thank you."

He scoffed, leaning against the wall and pulling her into him. "You won't be complaining when I take you on a shopping spree. Very fun for all the parties involved."

"Truthfully, I don't really like shopping that much. I get tired after a while." Shrugging, she pouted a little. This was a mannerism that she didn't notice but Blaise loved.

He hummed in response, his finger cradling her face. Instinctively, his thumb ran itself along her lips, giving them a soft caress. He was enthralled by them, and he had been waiting for her this whole weekend, silently begging for her to come early. Her body gave him a shiver, her eyes wide and locking with his.

Blaise enjoyed how she always had a reaction to give him, like it was in her blood to be affected by him. He was being gentle, or as gentle as he could be as he leaned down and caught her mouth in a knee-weakening kiss. Their mouths moved in tandem, a pattern that only they knew.

His free hand came to her waist while hers just grappled against his shirt, grabbing onto it like a lifeline. Twisting them, he places her against the wall, his body covering hers. This elicited a whimper from her that he swallowed, not breaking the kiss.

They continued at this for a few minutes, loving each second of it. Kali had never really felt this way with anyone. Her body opens up to him in a way that has never happened with Simon, or anyone else.

When he pulled away, her face moved with his, not wanting to separate. Getting off on how pliable she was for him, his huge hand tightened his grip on her neck, enough pressure to move her around. He pushed her back, giving them space to breath.

Pouting, she looked up to him, his stature being much higher than hers. When she was with Blaise, her mind could shut off and she could just feel. He was cocky enough to take charge of everything, so she just existed while he did all the work.

Silence filled the sunset as they caught their breath and broke the eye contact that was happening. Kali broke it by looking down where his hand was still connected to her neck.

A cocky smirk on his face, he looked down at it too. "We got a bit carried away, huh?"

"No." She replied, a rush of confidence through her. "We can keep going."

He chuckled, the sound as smooth as velvet. "You don't know what you're saying, baby. Next time I won't be able to have restraint." Obviously he would, but he was so horny his patience was wearing thin. He hasn't been celibate for this long since he started having sex.

It was her turn to give him a confident smirk. "Promises, promises." She spoke in a singsong voice, which made him laugh.

Leaning down, he kissed her forehead and took a step back. "Are you tired?"

She was, but she wanted to stay with him. Debating her answer, she stayed silent for too long so he spoke again.

"Do you want to sleep over at mine?" He asked, hoping she said yes.

She nodded enthusiastically, wanting to wear that quidditch sweater and cuddle up. It had been a while since they slept together since he was playing that whole gentleman card, which she appreciated, but noticed how far they have come. Their timeline is different, and that's okay.
