The day was perfect for a quidditch game, the sky sunny and the air warm. It wasn't sticky, just hot. The chill that was in the air completely dissipated by now, leaving summery weather.

Kali moved slowly to put on the jersey that Blaise gave her, her body still sore. After having sex with him, her legs hurt like never before. Walking to class was a challenge, but she enjoyed the sting, being reminded of it every time she moved.

She had withheld from confessing everything to Carla since she wasn't sure how to start the conversation, yet the hickeys on her neck gave away everything they did.

The pitch was full, since everyone knew this was one of the last three games. The fans were mostly people that were leaving Hogwarts this year, taking in the things they were going to miss in three weeks. Things changed quickly, and sometimes you just had to stop and appreciate what you have before it's gone.

The girl sat down on their reserved seating, smiles infecting their faces. "I can't believe this is almost over. I'm going to miss this place."

Kali had refrained from thinking about graduation, this was all she's ever known. Hogwarts was a safe haven to most, but to Kali it was a breath of fresh air. Living in a castle that big with that many people gave her so much freedom to do what she wanted, without her mother's crushing expectations choking her every instant.

"I know. Good thing we'll be together." She reached over, grabbing her best friend's hand in a silent promise.

Carla's parents had already found them a nice flat in northern London to live in while they study at a muggle university. Carla wanted to do marketing and Kali wanted to study literature. It was a solid plan, one that will be in effect as soon as next semester rolls around. She had no idea what Blaise's plan was, yet she wanted it to align with hers.

Once the announcer started talking, the game had begun. The teams entered the pitch and the girls instantly tried to find their friends, eyes jumping from jersey to jersey until they found the numbers they wanted.

As soon as they saw them, there was something in their gaze that showed that something was wrong. Maybe it was Camden's tight lips or Draco's furrowed brows. It was most probably Blaise's angry gaze, which made it seem like he wanted to kill his team. It was against Hufflepuff, so it should've been a guaranteed win.

Carla looked at Kali with a worried expression, noticing that something was very wrong with them. Biting her lip, she turned back to the front, hoping that they pulled it together.

They were a mess in the air as soon as they lifted from the ground. The team wasn't communicating, which is really important in a sport as dangerous as this one. Blaise gave a signal to one of his teammates, which the latter ignored, putting Hufflepuff in the lead.

"This is horrible." Kali commented, trying to think of a way to fix this without finding the snitch, but the little golden thing was nowhere to be found, which meant that Hufflepuff would probably win when the time ends.

Time was wasting, and Slytherin was getting worse by the second. Camden looked as angry as ever, yelling at his team in the air. He was a tad scary when mad, they all were. Their power wasn't lost on Kali, the way they had the world at their fingertips. Not getting what they wanted was not a normal occurrence.

With only 15 seconds left, the seeker desperately fled through the air, trying to find that thing that would fix this whole mistake, but it was too late. The winner was announced and the Hufflepuff side shouted, celebrating one of the few victories they scored this season.

The Slytherin team didn't even bother staying on the field, within an instant they were walking to their locker room, about to get yelled at by their captain. The thought of that made Kali's toes curl, his sternness.
