Jaiena cupped my chin with her little hands. "Mommy, stop crying... I don't want to cry too..." Jaiena said as she wiped my tears.

It's been 3 days nung nilibing na sila Mama ngunit yung sakit nandito pa rin.

Binuhat ni Jaiden si Jaiena at lumabas, pagkabalik niya ay mag isa na lang siya.

Tumayo siya sa harap ko yumakap ako sa bewang niya at isinubsob ang mukha sa tiyan niya.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry for being miserable and a burden to you," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion. "I should be fixing myself. Our wedding is coming, but I can't..." I felt his fingers gently playing with my hair, a silent gesture of comfort and reassurance. Then, he slowly wrapped his arms around me, holding me close.

"You're not a burden, mahal," he whispered, his voice low and soothing. "And you don't need to fix yourself. It's okay to grieve. It's okay to feel lost. Let yourself feel it. We'll get through this together, slowly, step by step." He continued to stroke my hair.

"I just... I can't imagine walking down the aisle without Mama, Papa, and Easton there," I choked out, the tears returning. "He was supposed to be my best man. They were supposed to be there to give me away."

Jaiden held me tighter, his embrace a shield against the storm of my emotions. "I know, mahal," he said softly. "It's okay to miss them. It's okay to grieve. We'll find a way to honor them on our wedding day. They'll be there in spirit, watching over us."

Nag angat ako ng tingin sa kaniya. "Paano?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper. "How can we make them a part of it when they're not here?"

He gently cupped my face in his hands, his touch a comforting reassurance. "We'll find a way," he said, his eyes filled with love and determination. "We can choose a special song for your entrance, one that reminds us of them. We can light a candle in their memory. We can find a way to make them a part of the day, even though they're not physically here."

He paused, his gaze unwavering. "We can even have a small ceremony before the wedding, just for us, to remember them and ask for their blessings."

His words resonated with me, a spark of hope igniting in the depths of my despair. The idea of a small, intimate ceremony, a way to honor their memory before the joy of our wedding, felt like a beautiful tribute. It was a way to acknowledge their presence, to seek their blessings, and to carry them with us as we embarked on this new chapter in our lives.

"That sounds... beautiful," I whispered, a small smile gracing my lips. "Thank you, Jaiden. Thank you for understanding."

He leaned in and kissed my forehead, his touch a silent promise of love and support. "Always, mahal. Always."

"Finally my daughter in law, I saw your sweet smile again. And you are going outside." bulong niya. "How are you?"

"Okay lang po ako, Tita," sagot ko. "Medyo pagod lang po dahil sa kakaisip."

Sunod kong niyakap si Tito Freddieric. "Nothing change... Still brave." bulong niya. Ngumiti ako.

Hinarap ko naman si John, nang mag tama ang mata namin ay umiwas siya ng tingin. May tampo pa rin siya sa akin. He's turning nine.
