84. Half truths

JK's POV

The doctor told me that the swelling in Tae's brain is going down and that soon enough, he's going to take him out of the induced coma that he's in. That really makes me happy. Very happy indeed.But as you all know with good news comes bad news. The doctor also mentioned that Tae has a blood clot on the left side of his brain and that they need to dissolve it before moving him out of the state he's in.

I want only the best people to work on Tae. People who studied and know what the hell they are doing. Also, I had them explain everything to Tae's mom and brother so that they know exactly what's going on .

The twins have been getting their daily supplements through a feeding tube . I also had a masseuse come in to check on his ankle. Also, the doctor suggested that we turn him on his sides every now and then so that the weight of the babies doesn't cause him any discomfort on his back.

I am practically living at the hospital.  I bathed here,slept here, and ate here, but I can't complain because I get to be with him.

I will never replace Tae. I don't want to. I should've had more courage to step up to him at college, but would things have been any different? Or maybe it would've been tougher. Okay,enough with the should've, would've, could'ves, I want to live in the present, because regardless of the mistakes I made in the past,it led me right to the love of my life.

I got on the bed next to him and kissed his cheek.

Jk:" Okay baby,enough,sleeping. The boys miss your voice,I miss it too. By the way,I haven't been going to the gym,and it's all your fault when you wake up and find the chubby version of me.

There was a soft knock on the door before the door was pulled open. It's Suga. I got off from the bed and went to the chairs.

Suga:" How is he? Getting better?

Jk:" Yes,it's slow, but there is progress.

Suga:" You have a warrior there.

Jk:" Did anything happen?

Suga:" I went to see Minjae in prison,awaiting his trial. He swears that he was there to try and help Tae.

Jk:" Wasn't it him who locked the bodyguards up?

Suga:" He said that Bogum lied to him about Tae being blackmailed by you with the kids. He apparently called Tae multiple times to warn him,but you wouldn't even speak to his mom

Jk:" Listen to me, it doesn't matter to me what he was trying to do at the last minute. He fucked up and his actions put Tae in that bed. Had he left the door open for David and Ian,Tae wouldn't be in that fucken bed.

Suga:" What do you want me to do?

Jk:" Make sure he never leaves,for at least 5 years,for those times he tried to force himself on him as well

Suga:" Wait,he tried to do what?

Jk:" Twice,and acted like he was fucking drunk.

Suga:" Dickhead. Everyone who had a hand in hurting you both will pay.

Jk:" Hasn't aunt called to talk to her sister?

Suga:" They have been strangers for years. They don't agree on a lot of things. No,she hasn't called her. I don't think she will

Jk:" I want mom to suffer. I want her to feel the pain she put Tae through.  I want her to be in so much pain,until begging for mercy is her only option

Suga:" They haven't had anything to eat since we locked them up.

Jk:" I have to go to the hotel where Bogum was staying. Oliver said that he had a whole shrine of Tae's pictures in there.
