Tae's POV

It's Jungkook's surprise birthday party tonight. I have been secretly planning an intimate party for him,since it's going to be his first birthday party with us as a couple, and as parents.

It's also the first time that I will be attending his birthday because he never invited me to any,and would always disappear the day after.

I've also learned from Jin hyung that it was usually just the two of them who got drunk together. That's if Jungkook didn't hang out with the ladies. Idiot.

I just planned everything with Mei and Jin hyung, no planners involved. I have just been acting nonchalant, acting like I had plans on that day with the salon staff

The twins are now 8 months old. They can sit up straight and hold onto things to stand .Ugh, they are just growing up way too quickly.

Everything is set for tonight. All the guests have been informed of secrecy.

We are still in bed.

Jk:" Good morning ,baby

Tae:" Good morning . I feel as though I am forgetting something

Jk:" Maybe you are. What's the date today

Nice one ,baby . I know what day it is. I've always known since I first found out

Tae:" Mmmm,it's the 1st of September. I am having plans with the salon staff. I just feel like something else is still amiss.

Jk:" What are your plans for lunch?

Tae:"I am taking the boys over to Jin hyung's house. They are meeting up with social worker today. I thought that it would be a good idea if they saw how good Namjoon and Jin hyung are with kids that they will hurry up with the adoption process

Jk:" So I am only going to see you later tonight,like just for bedtime?

Tae:" Yes baby,do you wanna do something together

Jk:" Nope,just forget it . It's fine.

Tae:" Wait,am I missing something?

Jk:" Apparently ,but it's no big deal.

Tae:" Okay then, why are you getting all worked up?

Jk:" I am going to take a bath and go to work.

Tae:" Okay,I am gonna go check up on the boys, see if they are already up.

Jk:" Taehyung, you can see them through the TV monitor.

Tae:" I know,I just want to see whether their temperature has finally normalized.

Jk:" Okay,fine,go check up on them.

Tae:" Jeon

Jk:" Do you want to take a bath with me?

Tae:" (shook my head) No,you go ahead and bath.

Jk:" You really don't know what day it is today?

Tae:" Friday, September 1st. Oh fuck

Jk:" You remember? ( eyes lid up)

Tae:" Yes,I have to drop off all the clothes that don't fit the boys at the orphanage. I forgot about that. I am just going to keep one baby item from each.

He looked at me and walked away. And I just smiled at how handsome he looked with his little frown.

I then left our room and went to the boys' room. Mi-yoon was already in there. The boys have been teething, so they have been very cranky,a bit of diarrhea, and high temperature, but it's getting better now that the little pearly whites are visible.
