Chapter 36:
Jessica's POV:
After we finished our funnel cake, we decided to go on some other rides before the roller coaster again. I looked up as we waited in line and noticed the clouds were pretty dark.
"Oh no! It's gonna rain!" I said. "We won't get to ride the roller coaster again."
"Yeah it looks like they closed it down. But this ride is still open." He said, pointing towards a ride that had four arms, each with three double seats spinning.
We headed towards the line, which was really short because a lot of people left to seek shelter. It didn't take long for us to get onto the ride.
As the ride spun, I lifted my arms in the air, screaming in joy. "This is so fun!" I yelled towards Nick. "The fair ride plus the rain makes this night perfect!"
"It also helps that I'm with the most beautiful girl in the world." Nick yelled back. I ducked my head, blushing. This night truly was perfect.
When we went to get in line to ride again, the person running the ride told us we had to go into the shelters because it was starting to lighting. I frowned, not wanting to end the night just yet.
We headed into the shelter that had lots of vendors. There was one in particular that sold fandom jewelry.
"OMG I have been looking for one of these for so long!" I said, pointing to a Revenclaw Diadem necklace. "According to Pottermore, I'm in Ravenclaw and I've always wanted something to show my pride.
I was so excited to find it, but when I looked at the price, it was too expensive. Soon, the rain let up and it was safe to drive home. Even though I didn't want the night to end, I was exhausted.
