Chapter 61:
Jessica's POV:I woke up the next morning, a little confused why I was in Nick's room. I felt his naked body pressed up against mine and smiled, remembering what happened. I turned so we were facing each other and kissed the tip of his nose. He stirred a little and opened his eyes.
"Good morning, Nicky." I said.
"Good morning, Jessi." Nick kissed me and I placed my hands on his chest.
"I love you so much." I said when we parted.
"I love you to the moon and back." It was such a cliché thing to say, but I still thought it was sweet.
We laid there in silence, just watching each other, when suddenly my stomach growls.
"Do you want to go get breakfast?" Nick asked.
"Yes because I'm hungry, but no because I don't want to leave you just yet."
"We can go get breakfast together." Nick suggested.
"That's not the same." I answered. "That's not as...intimate"
"How about we go shower before we get breakfast." Nick smirked at me.
"But how is that inti-" I thought about it and stopped. "Oooh, you meant together."
"Of course I meant together." Nick kissed my forehead and got up and went to his bathroom. I just laid in bed for a moment.
"Well, are you coming?" Nick asked, and I quickly got out of bed and followed him.
After our shower, I realized I didn't have any clean clothes to change into. I changed back into my outfit from yesterday and went back to my room to pick out a clean one.
I met Nick in the kitchen, breakfast already on the table. He had fixed me scrambled eggs with cheese, just how I liked it.
"Aww! You made me breakfast!" I said. "Thanks."
"I thought everyone else was already up and had breakfast, so I figured I would do something special for you." Nick pulled out a seat for me and sat across from me. "But I guess everyone must have had a lot of fun last night because they're all still sleeping."
"It's still really sweet." I took a bite of the eggs and my eyes opened wide.
"Are they really that bad?" Nick asked.
"No, they're that good! These taste just like the ones my mom used to make!" Nick took a bite and I could tell he enjoyed them too.
"You know, I had never had eggs with cheese until you made them for me in college." Nick took another bite and swallowed. "I haven't had them for years and I almost forgot about them until this morning."
