AN: SO SORRY for not posting in forever!! I've been busy with school and then I got a new job and I have band but I'm going to try to post at least once every two weeks (hopefully once a week)! To make up for it, ill post two chapters so I don't leave you with a cliffhanger.
Chapter 28:
Jessica's POV:
"I'm sorry Jess." Nick said after he missed the second time.
"Awww. But I really want a minion." I whined, sticking my bottom lip out. "Please try one more time. For me." I stared at him for a while, but he didn't do anything. I slowly walked closer to Nick, not really knowing why.
"Just one more time, for me." I ask again. Still no response. I was getting even closer to Nick now. We were about a foot apart.
Nick didn't move at all as I got so close that our feet were touching. I finally stopped, looked up, and stared him in the eyes.
I never noticed how gorgeous his eyes are. They're a deep chocolate brown that I could stare into for days. I suddenly forgot where we were and what we were doing. I was so entranced by his eyes. All I knew was that right here, right now, I wanted to kiss him.
I slowly leaned forward, keeping my eyes open to see if Nick wanted this too. Nick just stood there, not moving back, but not moving forward either. When we were just centimeters apart, Nick jumped back. I looked a him, disappointed.
"I'm sorry Jessi. I can't. I just...can't." He said softly.
