Chapter 30:
Jessica's POV:
When we get bak to the Manor, Nick opened the door for me because I was holding the giant Minion that Nick finally won for me.
"Rehearsal should be done soon." Nick said when I came out of my room from putting the Minion away.
"Yay! I can't wait to brag to Sami, Vivian, and Hailey about how fun the fair was." I sat on the couch and turned on the TV. Nick sat beside me. I scooted a little closer to him and he put his arm behind me on the couch. I yawned and laid my head on his shoulder.
I was close to falling asleep when the front door opened and I heard a bunch of conversations at once.
"Hey guys." Nick said, turning his head. "How was rehearsal?"
"Great. You missed the funniest thing. Joe and Dylan were practicing the fight scene and Joe accidentally let go of his staff and it got stuck in one of the catwalks!" Lauren laughed.
"How was your guys' day off?" Joe asked.
"Fun. We went to the fair." Nick said.
"He won me a stuffed minion." I interrupted, lifting my head off of Nick's shoulder.
"I'm glad you're feeling better, Jessi." Sami said. "And we need to talk. Vivi, Hailz, follow us to Jessi's room." Sami grabbed my wrist, pulled me off the couch, and dragged me down the hall to my room.
