Chapter 58:
Jessica's POV:

"We should probably get to the restaurant soon." I told Nick after checking my phone. "It's 1:15."
"Oh yeah, we should leave now." Nick stood, and I followed suit, grabbing his hat off the ground.
"Here's your hat back." I say, handing it to him.
"Thanks." He took the hat and placed it back on my head. "But it looks cuter on you."
I blushed and was amazed that after all this time, him just calling me cute still caused me to blush.
He opened my car door, like always, and drove us down the street. He parked in front of a restaurant filled both inside and out. The sign on the window read 'Quartino Ristorante.'
"This looks expensive." I say, as we got out of the car.
"Only the best for my Jessi!" Nick exclaimed, taking my hand.
Nick gave his name to the hostess for his reservation. She led us to a booth near the back of the restaurant.
"This place is beautiful." I say, looking around.
"Not as beautiful as you." I looked to Nick and blushed. He was giving me the same look he gave me when I said I was ready to take our relationship to the next step and I realized this look was lust. He took my hands and rubbed the back with his thumbs. Each gentle touch sent sparks up my arms and butterflies to my stomach.

Chapter 66:
Jessica's POV:

All throughout lunch, Nick kept smirking at me and giving me the look. Every time he looked at me, I had to look away so I didn't grab him and take him right there in the restaurant.
Lunch couldn't have finished soon enough. I couldn't stand the looks Nick was giving me. I needed to do something other than try not to stare at him while we eat.
"I have one more surprise for you." Nick said, walking in the opposite direction of his car.
"Are we walking?" I asked.
"Yeah, if you can handle a couple blocks." Nick joked. I playfully hit his arm, and then took his hand.
"I can handle anything when I'm with you." I said.
I followed Nick to a dark building with bright markings on the outside. When we entered, I realized it was a mini golf course. It was dark inside, but the clubs, golf balls, and course were all glowing.
"Ooh this is going to be fun!" I exclaim.
"I hoped you would like this." I could tell he was giving me the look again. I was thankful for the dark room so I couldn't see his face as well. I wouldn't be able to handle one more look from him.
