Chapter 44:
Nick's POV:
Before I knew it, it was closing night. As everyone exited the stage after the final song, I looked for Jessi. When I found her, she had a somber look on her face.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, rushing over to comfort her.
"Nothing, it's just...Twisted was the first StarKid show I have performed in and now it's over." She said.
"It's okay. Hopefully this won't be the last time you get to be in a StarKid show." I said, holding her in a tight embrace.
"I sure hope so." She said, looking up at me. I leaned down and kissed her, causing her to smile.
"Who's ready to party?!" Lauren yelled as she walked backstage.
"I want to party!" Jessi said, looking happy once again.
"Then let's go!" Lauren said, motioning for everyone to follow her.
We went back to the Manor and ordered pizza. While we waited for it to arrive, we turned on some music and everyone started dancing.
