AN: So this is the first chapter in a guy's point of view. Please let me know how you think it is. I have been told I am very old at writing in guys' POVs, but I am paranoid and don't really think I am a good writer at all. Btw I will not be able to post much for a while because since school has started, I don't have very much time to write. I will try to post as often as I can.
Anyway, enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 10:
AJ's POV:
I saw Jessi head into Lauren's room for breakfast. I went to my own. Joe, Darren, and Joey followed suit.
I sat on my bed, the others sitting on my furniture in my small bedroom. We started talking about video games, and that somehow led to a conversation about Joe's new girlfriend.
"I love her eyes. I think they are so beautiful. They sparkle like the sun." I faintly heard Joe say.
I instantly began to think of Jessica's eyes. 'Her eyes sparkle like the sun...'
I opened my eyes and found three sets of shocked and curious eyes staring at me.
I said that out loud, didn't I?
"Dude, are you creepin on my girlfriend?"
"No, no it's not like that, it's someone else, but like, uh..Nah, it's stupid." I stuttered.
Joe smirked. "Who is it?" He asked. I could tell by his tone that he had an idea as to who it is.
"N-no one it's stupid, just a little crush." I said, feeling my cheeks get hot.
"Whatever you say." Joe said, but it seemed more like he didn't believe me.
We finished our breakfast, the other guys talking about some party that someone was throwing tonight. I was too busy thinking about Jessica.
She hasn't really changed much since she moved to Nebraska, so why was I suddenly having feelings for her? After over 20 years of being best friends, was there any chance of us becoming more? Maybe I should just put my feelings away for now, and just focus on catching up with Jess.
After breakfast, I headed back out to the kitchen to put my bowl in the sink. I noticed Jessica was standing against the island, talking to Britney. I stopped and hid right outside the doorway and couldn't help but overhear their conversation.
"He's the sweetest guy ever. I'm so glad we're back together." My heart fell. Jessica was talking about being 'back together'. She already has a boyfriend. I knew there was no chance for us.
I turned to run back to my room, but ran into a tall figure.
"Hey man, what's the rush? You haven't even put your bowl in the kitchen." Joe said.
"Oh, uh, yeah. I kinda got distracted." I said, running my hand through my hair.
As Joe and I walked into the kitchen, I looked around, but didn't see Jessi anywhere. She must have gone out the other door, into the living room.
I thought about what I overheard. Jessi and I are such great friends, why didn't she tell me she has a boyfriend? Maybe she could tell I like her and she didn't want to hurt my feelings. No, it can't be that. I didn't even realize I like her until last night when I was lying in bed thinking about the party. I never even flirted with her, so how would she know I like her? She doesn't, so I shouldn't worry about that right now.
I decided to go find Jessica and somehow ask her about her boyfriend.
I walked into the living room, but only saw Brian and Meredith sitting on the couch, talking and laughing.
"Get a room!" I said teasingly. Brian threw a pillow at me. They hated it whenever someone made a comment that seemed like they were dating. We're not stupid. We know they like each other, and they know they like each other, but they're not dating...as far as we know.
"Hey, have you guys seen Jessica?" I asked.
"She's outside." Meredith said, with a knowing look in her eyes.
I walked out to the porch and saw Jessica sitting on the porch swing.
