AN: Hey guys! I'm on spring break this week, so since I don't have school, I'm going to post one chapter every day this week and in Friday I'm posting 3 chapters! Enjoy the special week!
Chapter 41:
Jessica's POV:I couldn't believe tonight was already opening night. I was excited but at the same time terrified.
"You're doing amazing! Don't worry, you'll be fine tonight!" Nick reassured me as we cuddled on the couch.
"But what if I forget a line or where I'm supposed to be?" I asked, looking up at Nick.
"It certainly won't be the first time we've had a mistake. Just don't think about what could go wrong. Focus on what you'll do right. And if you freak out, just take a deep breath."
"Alright." I said as I felt butterflies in my stomach. "I just need something to keep my mind off of the show tonight until it's time to perform."
"I know something that will distract you." Nick said, grinning. Suddenly, Nick started tickling my side. I screamed and started laughing.
"Stop! Stop!" I yelled trying to wiggle away from him. Instead, I fell to the floor, still laughing.
Nick stops tickling me and just looks at me. "You have an adorable laugh." He said.
"Really? I hate my laugh."
"I love your laugh, and I love you." Nick said before giving me a peck on the lips.
"Come on, you can do better than that." I said. I grabbed his shirt and pulled him towards me and gave him a passionate kiss.
Nick was surprised at first but he soon relaxed into the kiss. As soon as I felt him relax, I reached out and tickled him. When he felt my hands on his stomach, he tried to move away, but he wasn't fast enough. Soon I had him rolling around in a fit of laughs.
"Okay, okay! You win!" He said between laughs. I stopped tickling him and gave him a chance to catch his breath.
When we were both done laughing, I went over and sat next to Nick on the floor.
"I love you." I said, resting my head on his shoulder.
"I love you too." He said, kissing my forehead.
