Chapter 13:
Jessica's POV
Just then, the front door opened.
We jumped apart and I silently cursed at whoever interrupted us. I looked up and saw a very stunned Lauren.
"I-I'm sorry if I'm interrupting something." she started. "Jessi, there's a couple of girls here who say they know you."
"Where?" I asked. We were out front, so where would they have come in at?
"They came in around the back." Lauren explained.
"Jessi, you better get your ass in here and explain right now!" I heard a familiar voice say. I jumped up and ran inside when I realized it was Sami from Nebraska.
As soon as I saw Sami, I practically tackled her.
"OMG Sami! I missed you so much!" I said.
"I missed you too." She said, hugging me back. Hailey and Vivian joined in and we all shared a group hug. Then she pushed me away. "Now you better explain to me how you know the Starkids and why you didn't tell me that you were friends with them."
"Alright. Let's sit, it's gonna be a long story." I said, motioning to the couch.
"Tell me everything, and don't leave out any details!" Sami said as Vivian, Hailey, Sami, and I all sat on the couch.
"Alright," I said, thinking about where to start. "I used to live in Chicago, before I moved to Nebraska. AJ was my next door neighbor since I was about five years old. We always played together, and we would never leave each other's sides. When we started college, we decided to be in the theatre program. That's how we met the Starkids. And we have been friends ever since." I told Sami about why I moved to Nebraska, and why I came back to Chicago. "I'm really sorry I never told you any of this. I just didn't want you to only like me because I know Team Starkid."
"That's okay Jessi." She said, giving me a hug. "I still can't believe you know the Starkids!"
"Yeah. it's pretty cool. I bet every fan wishes they were me." I said, with a laugh.
We talked for a while about me knowing the Starkids, and then I decided to formally introduce them.
I somehow got all the Starkids gathered in the living room. They all sat on the couch, the chairs, or the floor. I grabbed Hailey, Vivian, and Sami and pulled them to the front of the living room.
