Chapter 52:
Jessica's POV:

While I was unpacking, Nick came in my room to see if I needed any help.
"You could start by unpacking that box onto my bookcase." I offered, pointing to a box labeled 'memories.'
"Oh my god, I remember this!" Nick exlaimed. I looked over and saw him holding a photo of him, Elona, Chris, and me on the set of Little White Lie. Nick, Elona, and Chris were going over their lines as I was adding little touches to the set.
"Oh yeah! That was the day we started filming Little White Lie!"
I sat down on my bed as Nick placed that photo down and picked up another from my small photo box.
"Oh no!" Nick said as he put his head down in his hands in embarrassment and handed me the photo. I laughed as soon as I saw it. This one was from our clown class. Nick and I were in our clown outfits, but Nick had white cream all over. I sported a pie tin and a very proud look.
"That was the day I finally got you! I would always try to squirt you with a fake flower or trip you with my big clown shoes, but you would always catch on before I had the chance."
"That was my day of defeat. You had finally beaten me, the master of all clown pranks." Nick said, acting as if he were just humiliated. I rolled my eyes at him as I pulled out another photo.
"This one's my favorite." I said, smiling down at the photo of everyone dressed in their costumes from the opening night of AVPM.
"Mine too." Nick added. I looked at him, waiting for an explanation.
"That was the night I knew I wanted to be more than just friends with you. Seeing your hard work and dedication to the show opened my eyes and my heart."
"You've liked me that long? Awww." I said, leaning in and giving him a well-deserved kiss.
As we looked through the photos, I noticed a book at the bottom and instantly recognized it as the one AJ had given me. I slowly reached in and took it out, moving my hand across the cover and feeling the letters that spelled out 'Best Friends.' I jumped as I felt a hand cover mine, but relaxed when I realized it was Nick's.
"Are you okay?" He looked worried.
"Yeah." I put on a smile and quickly placed the book on the top shelf of my closet and got back to work.
I got bored of the silence, so I got my speakers out and put my music on shuffle. I almost started crying when 'To Have A Home' started playing. I stopped what I was doing and just listened to the song.
"What's wrong?" Nick asked when he noticed I quit unpacking.
"It's just, this song means so much right now because I'm finally home again, with all of you, and I have Sami with me, and I have the best boyfriend ever!" I allowed the tears to escape. Nick wrapped his arms around me and held me as I cried.
"I'm so happy you're home. For good." He added.
I wiped away my tears and got back to work. I smiled, knowing I'd be here for a long time, surrounded by the people I love and who love me.
