Every story begins somewhere.
Some are born from a dream, a memory, a conversation, a season of life, or even a simple question that lingers in the heart.
This novel was written during a special chapter of my journey, and like many of my stories, it carries pieces of my experiences, observations, faith, and the people I have encountered along the way.
This story was inspired by the idea that sometimes life changes when we least expect it. Through Matheus and Briar's journey, I wanted to explore how love can be found in ordinary moments, unexpected encounters, and circumstances that seem inconvenient at first but eventually become life-changing blessings.
While the characters and events in this story are works of fiction, the emotions, lessons, hopes, and struggles reflected within these pages were inspired by real-life experiences and the many stories that have touched my heart through the years.
More than a love story, my prayer is that this novel reminds readers that God's hand is present even in the most unexpected moments of our lives. Sometimes He leads us through storms, sometimes through waiting, and sometimes through seasons we do not understand. Yet in every chapter, His purpose remains.
