Briar
Briar finally arrived home in Switzerland.
The moment she stepped inside her apartment, exhaustion immediately crashed over her like a wave.
She was beyond tired.
Two consecutive sleepless nights.
A long flight.
And three straight days of physically demanding work.
Even though she used to help her aunt years ago before permanently moving to Switzerland, her body still wasn't fully prepared for three days of nonstop cleaning without proper rest.
Her shoulders ached.
Her legs felt heavy.
And her poor backside still reminded her of her embarrassing accident every time she moved too quickly.

Briar still remembered the panic on her aunt's face.
That alone had been enough for her to volunteer immediately.
She loved Aunt Lenna too much to watch her business reputation suffer.
"Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?" her aunt asked worriedly back then.
Briar laughed lightly at the memory while opening her suitcase.
"Of course," she had answered confidently. "Before I moved to Switzerland, I practically worked here with you already."
Her aunt still looked uncertain.
"You came here to rest."
"And I'm still helping family," Briar replied warmly. "Don't worry. I can manage."
And honestly-
she really thought she could.
What she didn't expect...
