She and the rest of her on-call crew had been busy since early morning decorating the reception banquet hall.

Even the placement of glasses, cutlery, candles, and folded napkins mattered.
Briar walked around the venue carefully while supervising everyone.
Some people thought wedding planning only involved flowers and pretty decorations.

It was exhausting.
Schedules.
Timing.
Coordination.
Unexpected problems.
And hundreds of tiny details that most guests would never even notice.

that was exactly why Briar loved her job.
Because when everything finally came together beautifully...
it felt magical.
Several hours later, the banquet hall was finally ready for the evening reception.
Soft lights illuminated the elegant white-and-gold theme beautifully.
Fresh floral arrangements filled the room with delicate fragrance.
The long guest tables looked luxurious without appearing excessive.
Exactly how Briar envisioned it.
Satisfied, she slowly exhaled.
Perfect.
The food caterers had already received complete instructions too, so Briar only needed to contact the head chef shortly before the wedding ceremony ended.
Timing was important.
She wanted the food served fresh and warm the moment guests arrived from the waterfalls.
The beauticians, meanwhile, would head to Caren's place after lunch to begin bridal preparations.
Everything remained on schedule.
Thankfully.
"Jenny," Briar called while reviewing the final arrangement one last time, "I'm heading to the waterfalls to check the setup there."
Her assistant immediately nodded.
"Sure. I'll handle everything here."
Then Jenny grinned teasingly.
"By the way, your clothes are already inside your car when you need to change later."
Briar smiled gratefully.
"Thank you, Jen."
"You're welcome."
Jenny crossed her arms dramatically before adding,
"And you better leave now if you still want enough time to enhance that beauty of yours."
Briar laughed softly.
"You're impossible."
"And you're naturally beautiful. Life is unfair."
Still smiling, Briar grabbed her keys.
