"My sister won't listen to me. I try to explain and she just gets angry. She hates me because I kept her from Hogwarts." Explained Harry. He sat in Headmaster Dumbledore's office, anxious.

"Have you explained why you kept her from Hogwarts?" Asked Dumbledore.

"No. I've tried, but she's blown me off. She can be mad at me all she wants, I don't care if she thinks I was doing it for selfish purposes. I just wish she'd understand that this is a matter between life and death."

"Did you try explaining that?"

"I made one attempt."

"One isn't enough, Harry."

Harry nodded.

"I'm going to bring her here into my office and have a conversation with her. Would you like to be here?"

"No, thank you. I think my presence will be frustrating for her."

"You may be dismissed, Harry."

Harry gets up from the chair he was sitting in and exits the office.

Eva sat on the leather couch in the Slytherin common room next to Mattheo, attempting to study for their upcoming charms exam until Professor Snape interrupted them. "Miss Potter, Dumbledore would like to speak with you in his office."

"Can Mattheo come?"

Snape turns his gaze to Mattheo for only a brief moment before he looks back at Eva. "No. Please head to his office. Now." Snape then glides off with his capes flowing behind him.

Eva rolls her eyes.

Mattheo smirks, "Good luck."

She took her sweet time on her way to Dumbledore's office. She was quite anxious about what he wanted to speak with her about. She was thinking about all the bad things she'd done recently that he could possibly mention.

The old man with a long white beard and blue robes stood in front of a golden statue of a phoenix. "Professor Dumbledore?" Asks Eva.

"Hello there, Evangeline. You make it here alright?"

"Uh yeah."

Dumbledore smiles at her and turns around to face the statue of the phoenix. "Lemon drop." He says. And his office opens.

Eva follows him into his office. She looks around, seeing it was a lot bigger than she had expected. Dumbledore motions to a chair in front of his desk for her to sit in. "What's up?" She asks, nervously.

Dumbledore doesn't speak until he sits down on the other side of his desk. "I heard you and Harry haven't been speaking much to one another. It's not very surprising considering you two have been sorted into different houses, but it seems like you've been angry with him."

Eva remained silent.

"I don't believe there's anything wrong with being angry, but I believe it is more of a misunderstanding between the two of you."

"I don't think so." She thought to herself.

"I've called you up here because Harry has brought some concerns to my attention."

"What?"

"Voldemort is alive and he's preparing to takeover anything that isn't purely magical. I'm sure you've known this, but do you understand that this is a situation between life and death?"

"Yes. So what?"

"So I need you to work with me and Harry in defeating him. You can be mad at your brother all you want later, but for now, the world needs you to put that anger aside and fight."

"Fight, how?"

"Well, right now, he is immortal, but that's because he's created these things called horcruxes. They're-"

"I know what they are." She interrupted him.

"How?"

"I..."

"Fuck." She thought to herself, "I read that in the FORBIDDEN library."

"Did Harry tell you?"

"Uh...yeah." She lied.

Dumbledore furrowed his brows. "What were you doing in the forbidden section of the library?"

She sighed. "All I read was a summary on horcruxes. That was it."

"Okay, but how did you even get to that in the first place? Hardly anyone in the wizarding world knows about horcruxes."

"I knocked over a book and it opened to that page."

"So, again, Miss Potter, what were you doing in the forbidden section of the library?"

"I was talking with a friend about something private. We didn't want anyone to hear so we thought the forbidden section was a good idea."

Dumbledore took a deep breath, "Don't do that again or I'll have to remove points from Slytherin."

All of a sudden, Dumbledore's office door opened and in came Professor Snape. "I apologize for the interruption, but I need you to come and see this."

Dumbledore stands up, "Talk to Harry about the rest, please."
