Draco & Eva arrived at the train station together. "I don't feel like meeting up with any of our friends right now." He admitted to her coldly. "I don't feel like socializing."
"Did you want to be alone?" She anxiously bit the inside of her cheek.
"What? You're fine." He rolled his eyes. Talking to Eva didn't drain his energy like it did with others. He found it easy to speak to her, he felt like he could be himself.
She nodded, taking note of that. It was reassuring for her.
The train arrives and students begin packing into the train compartments. She noticed all the stares from other students, it made her uncomfortable, but she did her best to ignore it. Draco and Eva found an empty compartment and put their luggage on the bench across from them, so that nobody would sit there.
She yawned, "I'm so tired." She then rested her head on his shoulder. It made him jump a bit, but he quickly relaxed.
She closed her eyes in hopes to take a nap on this long, dreadful train ride, but was quickly interrupted by the compartment door sliding open. She quickly took her head off his shoulder to see Mattheo & Blaise. "You mind taking your shit off the bench?" Blaise requested.
Draco stated blankly, "We're trying to have a conversation right now."
Mattheo pushed his way past Blaise, "It looks like you're snuggling, actually." Both Riddle and Zabini begin taking the luggage off the bench and putting them in the compartments above.
Draco rolled his eyes and Eva looked at him with a sorry expression.
Mattheo plopped down across from Draco, "There are not enough compartments on this train for how many students go to this school."
Blaise sat next to Mattheo, "You two got pretty close over the summer, huh?" The two boys smirked and made eye contact with one another before looking back at Draco and Eva, who were unamused with the teasing.
The compartment door slid open again, this time, revealing Pansy Parkinson and the couple of girls that follow her around, Daphne & Astoria Greengrass. "Well, hey there." She smiled big, entering as if she owned the compartment. She sat next to Draco. "It's been a while."
Blaise retorted, "It's been since the start of summer, Pansy."
Parkinson rolled her eyes at Zabini's remark as her friends sat next to her in a row. She took notice of how close Eva and Draco were sitting next to each other.
Mattheo leaned forward, "You feel ready for the N.E.W.T. exams this year, Eva?"
She shook her in head, "Not at all."
Pansy decided to use her big mouth, "What kind of a question is that, Mattheo? Obviously she isn't; she's stupid."
"Oh shut it, Pans." Spat Draco, "It's not fair to hold her to the same standard as us. We've been here since we were eleven and this is only her second year."
Pansy shot him a nasty look.
