It was her first breakfast of the year. Evangeline walked down to the Great Hall at Draco's side; meanwhile, Crabbe and Goyle practically just walked behind them like bodyguards. Zabini & Riddle went elsewhere, they were going to meet them at the table anyway.
"You have to come to my Quidditch practice." Malfoy continued, he was telling her all about Gryffindor & Slytherin's rivalry. Especially when it came to Quidditch.
Harry had told Eva every little detail about Quidditch, so she knew quite a bit for the most part, but she'd never seen it.
"Okay okay." She gave in while giggling, "I'll come." She sat with Draco at the Slytherin table, with Crabbe & Goyle across from them.
Draco looked over at the entrance door of the Great Hall and asked the two across from them, "Are Blaise & Mattheo still smoking?" He questioned.
"Probably." Answered Crabbe with a mouthful of toast.
"What exactly are they smoking?" Eva wondered.
"Weed." Draco answered.
"And we didn't get invited?"
"I prefer not to do that stuff." Said Draco, taking a swig of pumpkin juice, "Not when I have classes anyway. But next time, I'll tell them to take you with them."
"No." She argued, "I'd rather them want to invite me. I don't want them to feel obligated to."
Zabini & Riddle sat down on the outside of Draco & her. Riddle next to her & Zabini next to Draco. She could hardly comprehend why Zabini wasn't fond of her, but they just met, so maybe he wasn't too much of a people person.
Eva looked at Riddle innocently, as she chewed on the toast in her mouth. His eyes were bloodshot red and dilated. He noticeably moved slowly as he reached for a biscuit in front of him. She looked back at her own plate, and no longer had an apatite. "You gonna eat that?" Riddle pointed at the other piece of toast on her plate while he had a mouthful of biscuit.
"No." She replied, sliding her plate in front of him.
She saw Anala sitting on the corner of the Slytherin table by herself again. Guilt shot through her like goosebumps. The two girls made eye contact, she forced a smile upon her face, and of course, Eva smiled back at her. "You know Osborn?" Asked Zabini.
"Yeah. Why?"
"She's just a loner. That's all."
"She's nice." Eva defended.

Mattheo was the only other person who seemed interested in being friends with Eva. Crabbe & Goyle were more reserved and observant, meanwhile; Zabini was just a dick to her along with Pansy and her group of obnoxious Slytherin girls.
Eva was watching Draco practice quidditch from a bleacher. She said "Thank you." as Riddle handed her a soda and sat down next to her. He smiled at her in response. "Draco is actually pretty good." She tried to spark a conversation.
"Not as good as Potter." Mattheo replied.
She frowned, "That's pessimistic, but how?"
"Your brother always catches the snitch."
He's annoying.
