Draco Malfoy saying sorry was unexpected. Especially for something...considered small. He ended up letting Evangeline copy him. He felt bad. They didn't say anything else to one another.
Class was finally dismissed. But Snape just had to make things more miserable, at least for Miss Potter.
"Miss Potter and Mister Malfoy! I want you two to stay after class."
Eva clenched her jaw out of irritation. Everyone else who was in class exited, leaving just Malfoy & Eva with Snape. "Miss Potter, I know that you were copying off of Mister Malfoy. Those kinds of things do not slide in my classroom." He sneered, "So, you have a detention. But I'll also be pairing you with another student to tutor you."
"Who?"
"I'm not sure yet." Professor Snape turned to Malfoy, "And you. I expect a lot more from you. You really let her copy you? She'll just bring you down Draco, which she's doing right now. You have a detention as well."
"But professor-" He tried to come to his defense.
"I don't want to hear it. Don't make me write your father."
Draco put his head down in defeat, "Yes sir."

"Maybe you should just pay attention more." Cedric suggested.
"Believe me, I try. I don't know why it's so difficult for me." Eva complained as her and Cedric walked through the corridor, heading to the Great Hall for dinner.
He sighed, "What if I tutor you then?"
"You'd probably have to talk to Snape. He's the one pairing me up with someone."
"Will do."
They reached the entrance of the Great Hall and Cedric gave her a hug before heading off to the Hufflepuff table. She blushed and walked towards the Slytherin one. She sat down next to Mattheo Riddle, who was next to Draco, but she ignored him.
"Eva." The blonde suddenly said her name.
It caught her off guard, she wanted to be distant from him and remain nonchalant, but she looked at him, giving him her attention anyway. "Professor Snape wanted me to let you know that we have detention on Saturday at ten in the morning."
"What a waste of a Saturday." She rolled her eyes, looking down in disappointment.
"If you had just paid attention and not copied me, neither of us would be in this circumstance." He bitched.
"Oh shut up." She retaliated, full of shame and guilt that was prevalent on her face. Maybe she should apologize, but was too embarrassed to face the accountability.
Malfoy's eyebrows faltered momentarily, taking notice of her guilty demeanor, but refusing to acknowledge his observations, "He also told me who your tutor is."
She looked back at him, curiosity appearing amongst her ashamed expression, "Who?"
"Granger."
She sighed; for some reason, part of her was hoping it'd be Malfoy.
