Opposite Ends (Draco Malfoy)

Eva exited Dumbledore's office and decided to make her way to the Great Hall since it was dinner time.

While she was on the second floor, she ran into her brother. "Harry!"

"Not now, Eva!" He said, not even stopping to talk to her. He was rushing somewhere.

She huffs and jogs up to him, "Dude, we need to talk. Dumbledore said so. Why don't you listen to your pretend granddaddy?"

He scoffs at her remark, "Eva, we can talk later."

She looks ahead to see that Harry was following Malfoy.

"Why are you after Draco?"

"Piss off!" He retorted and started running.

She rolled her eyes and mumbled to herself, "I feel like I deserve to know." She ends up running after Harry, a bit concerned about Draco.

She saw Harry dart after Malfoy into the abandoned girl's bathroom. When she made it into the bathroom, her brother yelled, "Sectumsempra!"

Next thing she knew, there was a flash of a bright white light, and Draco was lying on the floor, with blood bleeding out of wounds from all over his body. It looked like a blade had slashed several spots on his chest, legs and arms.

"Oh my god!" Eva exclaimed as she ran over to Draco to try and put pressure on as many wounds as she could. She knew no magic that could help him. "What the fuck is wrong with you Harry?!"

Harry stood there in disbelief. He didn't have a clue what the curse was going to do. Professor Snape ran into the bathroom and took a quick glance at Draco, then Harry before he tells Eva, "Move."

She does just as he asked. Severus puts his wand against Draco's chest and starts to trace his wounds as Snape begins to mutter something. Harry runs off, which elicits more anger within Evangeline.

When Snape finished, he stood back up and Draco was still lying on the ground with his pool of blood surrounding him. "Help me get him to the hospital wing."

Eva and Snape both get Draco to put his arms around their shoulders. Eva wasn't much help because she was much shorter than the both of them, but Severus accepted the help anyway.

They get him to the hospital wing and he lies unconscious in a bed, in his now-bloodstained white shirt, while Severus takes Eva outside the wing to speak with her.

"What happened?" He inquired.

"I don't know. I saw my brother chasing Draco, but when I caught up to them, Harry used that curse."

"Okay." He furrowed his brows at her. "Go get something to eat. I'll see you in class."

"Is Draco gonna be okay?"

"He's fine. He needs rest; he lost a lot of blood."

"What was that curse?"

"One that could've killed Draco if I hadn't come in time."

Eva's heart felt like it fell out of her chest.

"Any more questions?"

"No." She turned around and rolled her eyes.
