Evangeline didn't show up to Hermione Granger's tutoring sessions. She dreaded the idea of being stuck with one of her brother's best friends. Eva had expected her to snitch, given what a rule-follower she seemed to be; however, to Eva's surprise, Granger didn't say a word about it.

Hermione sighed. "I just don't think my teaching skills align with the way Evangeline learns. I'm not doing her any help and I think she needs a different tutor." She explained to Professor Snape, feeling that the Potter twins shared the same stubborn trait.

Evangeline walked into potions class dreadfully and sat down in her original seat next to Mattheo, hoping Snape wouldn't remember he switched her seat to the front of the classroom.

Class was boring, per usual. Thank Merlin they didn't do anything hands-on. At the end, Professor Snape made Malfoy & Eva stay behind. She was confused and maybe a little anxious. She tried to recall every bad thing she's done recently, and was praying it had nothing to do with not sitting in her new assigned seat.

Shit. Did Hermione snitch? But if she did, why would Malfoy get called back too?

"Miss Potter." Snape began, "Miss Granger has informed me that you are not benefiting from her lessons. So, I hope that Mister Malfoy will be able to help you out. I'd hate for you to be a hopeless case."

She sighed.

Thank Merlin.

Snape turned to Draco, "Is this okay with you, Mister Malfoy?"

"Yes, Professor." He answered.

"You two are dismissed." Snape nodded at them and sat down at his desk.

Draco & Eva exited out the same door. "How does Granger's lessons not help you out?" He teased, "She's the biggest know-it-all here." Both of them were headed to the Great Hall, given it was lunch time.

She rolled her eyes. "I actually just wasn't showing up. I'm surprised she vouched for me like that."

"Why didn't you show up?"

"She kind of annoys me."

The blonde chuckled, "Will you show up to my lessons?"

"Maybe...I mean...I think you might be a slight upgrade from Granger at least." She said, joking a little.

"I'll take that as a yes." He lightly bumped into her side, smirking.

She felt her cheeks flush as she looked at the ground in an attempt to hide her smile.
