Voldemort arrived in the forest, only to see that Harry Potter wasn't there. And that Evangeline was missing. "I thought he would come." Said Voldemort, in his seething voice, "I expected him to come. And when you see Evangeline, hold her hostage."

Harry had the invisibility cloak wrapped around both him and his sister. Eva gave him a worried look. Harry silently casted the Imperturbable Charm and said, "You gotta say something to make it look like you're the one who's brought me here."

"Then we gotta back up." She replied before he turned off the charm. The twins backed up so that when they removed the invisibility cloak, they wouldn't be visible.

The Dark Lord continued on his ramble, "I was, it seems...mistaken."

Harry ripped off the invisibility cloak, and Eva shoved him into view from behind a tree and announced, "He's here." She then came into view, walking beside him.

Voldemort said very softly, "Harry Potter. The Boy Who Lived." He raised his wand, with his head tilted to the side. He moved his wand and before the flash of green light shot out of the end of his wand, Evangeline jumped in front of Harry.

"NO!" Screamed the Dark Lord, who quickly killed Harry right after her body hit the floor.

Voldemort forced Hagrid to carry the two corpses of Eva and Harry back to the castle with the intent to display their seemingly lifeless bodies proudly.

Hagrid carried them side by side in his arms. It were no problem for him, considering his large figure. But the giant beared a heavy heart, as he dragged himself up to the castle with tons of death eaters marching behind him, ensuring he does what Lord Voldemort wanted.

Mattheo Riddle walked in the front, closely watching his father and feeling guilty for the death of his close friend, Evangeline, but he didn't dare to show it.

Everyone who fought in defense of the wizarding world slowly emerged from the ruins of the castle as the death eaters approached it.

"NO!" Screamed Professor McGonagall when she saw the body of the twins, as Bellatrix laughed at her despair.

"The twins are dead!" The Dark Lord announced. He wasn't happy about the outcome of loosing one of his Horcruxes, but at least he still had Nagini.

Draco Malfoy had shoved his way through the crowd of those who defended the school to see for himself. He felt a sharp pain in his chest when he spotted Eva in Hagrid's arms.

The Dark Lord gave a speech, but Draco was too consumed by grief to listen. He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his father's voice.

"Draco..."

He looked away, but then his mother spoke.

"Draco." She said soothingly, trying to convince him to go over to them, but the young man stands still. Hermione and Ron who stood at the front of the line, heartbroken at the loss of their best friend, looked back at him.

"Draco!" Yelled Lucius, irritated with his son's defiance.

"Come." Said Narcissa calmly.

Evangeline had regained consciousness; she couldn't believe it. She didn't dare to open her eyes yet though.

Draco still hesitated, not wanting to go to his parents, but he does so. He's lost hope. The Potter twins were dead and Voldemort was still alive.

Neville gives a speech and he draws the Sword of Gryffindor, ready to kill Nagini.

Harry jumps out of Hagrid's arms, causing Evangeline to fall. Draco immediately ran up to Harry, tossing him a wand, "Potter!"

Eva got to her knees, then her feet, and ran after Harry.
