Eva snuck out of her dormitory at exactly 12:30am. She dressed in black plaid pj bottoms and a black hoodie. She was nervous, her stomach in a knot as she carefully strolled through the cold, dark corridors of the castle.

She reached the library and attempted to open the doors, but they were locked. "Fuck." She muttered.

"You don't know the unlocking charm?" A guy's voice said from behind her. She jumped around and it felt like her heart shot out of her throat, but when she saw it was only Draco, she sighed.

"No." She answered.

Draco smiled. A smile Eva hadn't seen in a while. "Excuse me." He said to her. She stepped aside and he waved his wand, "Alohomora."

The sound of the lock turning echoed, causing Eva to look around hyper vigilantly. Draco opened the door and let Eva go through first. No words were spoken between the two until they reached the forbidden section that were completely coated in dust.

"Quite the place you chose here, Draco." Commented Eva, hoping to uplift the spirit of the situation.

He made no reply, which led to her feeling embarrassed.

He was nervously avoiding eye contact, "I want to talk to you about something, Eva."

"Okay.."

There was a pause. He struggled to bring himself to just say it; it was right there on the tip of his tongue. He took a deep breath, "It's Dumbledore."

Eva nodded. "I figured."

"What?"

"Voldemort is really alive?"

Draco winced at the sound of his name, "Don't say his name, please."

"Why?" She scoffed, thinking that everyone's irrational fear of the name was ridiculous.

"He's planning on tabooing it."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"Whoever utters his name, their whereabouts will be revealed to him. He'll make either us death eaters or some snatchers go find them."

"What the fuck? That's possible?"

Draco nodded, "But what do you mean that 'you figured' it was Dumbledore?"

"I had a dream. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I've had these dreams before and Harry has too. They're dreams that have to do with Voldem- I mean...fuck face. And every time they've turned out to have actually happened. It was almost as if we were experiencing things in his shoes. Or his snake's, Nagini. I've had a dream where I was Nagini and she killed some guy and not even a day later I see on the newspaper that he was found dead in the exact house I saw."

Draco sighed, "Have you told anyone? About the dream you had with Dumbledore?"

"No. I barely had the dream last night. I was just really hoping it wasn't real." She answered, "Why now are you deciding to tell me this after blowing me off?"

"Because things are about to get real, Eva. And I think you deserve to know what the Dark Lord has planned."

"I know what he has planned."

"But he wants you dead."

"I know that. He already tried to kill me before."

"Well, that's why I've been blowing you off, Eva."

"Because he wants to kill me?"

"One of the reasons, yeah."

"Oh." Eva was at a loss of words. She tiredly leaned back against the bookshelf behind her, forgetting about all the dust. She knocked over a book, it fell on the other side of the shelf.

"Nice going, Eva. You're gonna get us caught."

She rolled her eyes and walked over to where the book fell. It was open on a page that was labeled 'Horcruxes.'

"Summary:

A Horcrux is an object that contains a soul, created when a being splits their soul and hides it outside of their body, thus allowing the being to affectively become immortal. One can only split their soul by committing a supreme act of evil, like murder, which damages a wizard's soul by breaking a piece of it."

"Are you actually reading the book?" Draco came up from behind her.

Eva picked up the dusty, open book and faced Draco. "You think you-know-who has used some stuff that are in these forbidden books?" She inquired.

"It's likely." He shrugs, looking down at her. "He's definitely used all three of the unforgivable curses."

"Unforgivable curses?"

"The killing curse, the cruciatus curse, and the imperius curse."

Eva closed the book and read the title, "Dark Magic: Not to be used, but to be weary of." She slid the large, leather book back into its original place.

"I've missed talking to you, Draco." Eva looked up at him.

He sighed, "I don't want to get close to you if I'm just gonna loose you."
