"We can be powerful together, Evangeline." Voldemort continued, "You just need to come to the realization of what really matters." He then turned to Draco, who stood behind Eva with a numb expression. "Show her to her room, Draco."
"Yes, my lord." He then led Eva upstairs, and down some halls. She felt lost inside the large manor; if she were to escape, it'd take her too long to find the exit.
They reached a certain door, he opened it for her, allowing her to go inside first. She saw two twin beds on opposite ends of the room that were covered in dark green satin sheets with dark wooden embroidered frames. Next to each bed, were doors. It was almost like the walls mirrored each other.
"You and I have to share a room." Said Draco, shutting the door behind him.
"What?"
"The Dark Lord wants you under constant supervision. Don't worry, there's two separate restrooms."
"Wow. Two separate restrooms." She said with a straight face, "I feel a whole lot better now."
He rolled his eyes, "I don't like this situation either, Eva." He spoke lowly and took a step closer to her, "But what choice do we have? If you don't do what he wants, I have to torture you. And if I don't do what he wants, he'll kill me, probably my family, and have someone else torture you." The worry on his face was prevalent. "I don't want to have to do that to you."
She hesitated before speaking, not wanting to say anything that'll worsen his anxiety, "Don't worry. I'll prove myself trustworthy."
