As always, there was a welcome back party. Eva took her sweet time getting ready in her own dormitory because no boys were allowed in there, so she didn't have to be around Draco. Sometimes, she just wanted to be by herself.

But unfortunately, she was in a room with the girl she found most annoying, Pansy Parkinson. Her and her friends were also getting ready for the party tonight.

Eva was sitting criss cross on the floor, straightening her hair in front of a mirror when Parkinson approached her. "So what's going on with you and Draco? You two are always together."

Eva rolled her eyes. She didn't understand why Pansy thought it was any of her business. "We're friends." She replied, turning off the hair straightener.

"Mhm." She then walked away and entered the powder room.

Eva then searched in her wardrobe for something nice to wear. She found a cute dress.

Daphne Greengrass looked over at Eva, "That's a pretty dress."

Evangeline looked in Daphne's direction and smiled, "Thank you."

Daphne was actually likeable when Pansy wasn't around.

At the party, Eva did a lot of drinking. She came back from taking shots with another random drunk girl she became "best friends" with and messily plopped down on the couch where Draco, Mattheo, Blaise, Pansy, and the rest of the group were at.

Draco leaned closer to Eva, "I think you should slow down on the drinking." He whispered.

"Mind your business." She shot at him then leaned back into the couch. Her vision began to spin.

Fuck.

She leaned into Draco's side, but it didn't help.

Mattheo looked at her with concern, but she didn't notice. "You alright, love?"

Pansy snickers at Eva's drunken state.

She started feeling nauseated, "Im fine...I think I...need to go to bed."

Blaise chuckled, "I'd like to see you try and make it up those stairs."

Draco stood up and gently helped Eva do the same. He held her by the waist, "Come on, Eva."

She relied on him heavily for support as Pansy watched the two of them with an infuriated look on her pug-like face.

Blaise rolled his eyes, "You gonna have her sleep in our room again because she's too drunk to go to her own?"

Eva felt guilty for getting too drunk, but she kept telling herself nothing mattered anymore.

Mattheo came to their defense, "I don't see the issue, Blaise."

"This chick can't handle her liquor."

Draco and Eva began to head up the stairs to the boy's dormitory as Mattheo and Blaise continued to bicker.

Mattheo looked at Blaise, unamused, knowing that Blaise was a lot more forgiving when Mattheo would drink too much.

Eva and Draco reached his dormitory and he sat her on his bed. She looked up at him, "Are you even drunk at all? I saw you drinking."

"Not as badly as you are." He replied, with a slight blush on his face as he fluffed his pillows for her. He got down on his knees to slide off her shoes for her.

"You don't have to-"

He cut her off, "It's fine." He placed her shoes neatly next to his nightstand. He lifted his comforter and placed it on top of Eva, tucking her in. She smiled at him, finding his efforts amusing.
They made eye contact with one another, pausing. Her eyes lingered to his lips and back up to his grey eyes. She leaned in and crashed her lips onto his.

He kissed her back and sat on the edge of the bed, leaning into the kiss. She pulled away gently from him and looked him in the eyes, "I want you." She whispered.

He smiled, but sighed. "Go to bed, Eva. You're drunk."
