Opposite Ends (Draco Malfoy)

Evangeline lifted the dark metal door knocker and let it drop four times. She was nervous out of her mind. She didn't know anything about Draco's family. Considering how Draco is, she doubted that they're nice to just anyone.

The door opened, and for some reason it felt suspenseful. A very tall man with long, platinum blonde hair, like Draco's, opened the door. He wore a black suit and held his head high. He looked down at Eva almost like she were scum. "You are a friend of Draco's, or am I mistaken?" He spoke slowly and very monotone. It made him more intimidating than his appearance originally led.

"Yes." She answered, trying to appear as polite and confident as she could. "I'm er- Ella Greengrass. It's nice to meet you, sir." She put her hand out for him to shake.

He ignored her gesture. "Greengrass? I thought there were only two girls."

She awkwardly put her hand down, but kept smiling, "Daphne and Astoria?"

"Yes. Those two." His attitude was just as arrogant as Professor Snape's.

"Oh. I'm their cousin." She lied.

His head turned upward even more and his eyebrows raised a bit. "Come on in." He stepped to the side to let her in.

She entered the house only to be surrounded by extravagant gothic decor. She assumed that the lady standing by the fireplace was the man's wife, Draco's mother. "Hello." greeted the woman. Her cordial tone didn't seem genuine.

"Hi." Eva smiled at the woman.

The blonde man shut the door. "That is my wife, Narcissa."

Eva went up to her and put her hand out, "It's nice to meet you." Narcissa actually took her hand and shook it. Maybe she was a little more kind than her husband.

"What house are you in, again?" The woman asked, letting go of her hand.

To which Eva replied, "Slytherin."

She smiled sinisterly, "I'll go let Draco know you are here."
